John akọkọ 2: 22- 28

2:22	Tani eke, yatọ si ẹniti o sẹ pe Jesu ni Kristi naa? Eyi ni Aṣodisi-Kristi, ẹniti o sẹ Baba ati Ọmọ.
2:23	Kò sí ẹni tí ó sẹ́ Ọmọ pẹ̀lú tí ó ní Baba. Ẹnikẹni ti o ba jẹwọ Ọmọ, tun ni Baba.
2:24	Ní ti ẹ̀yin, kí ohun tí ẹ ti gbọ́ láti àtètèkọ́ṣe máa gbé inú yín. Bí ohun tí ẹ ti gbọ́ láti ìbẹ̀rẹ̀ wá bá wà nínú yín, lẹhinna o, pelu, yio ma gbe inu Omo ati ninu Baba.
2:25	Ati pe eyi ni Ileri naa, èyí tí òun fúnra rẹ̀ ti ṣèlérí fún wa: Iye ainipekun.
2:26	Mo ti kọ nkan wọnyi si ọ, nítorí àwọn tí wọ́n fẹ́ tàn yín jẹ.
2:27	Sugbon nipa ti o, kí àmì òróró tí ẹ ti gbà lọ́wọ́ rẹ̀ máa gbé inú yín. Igba yen nko, iwọ ko nilo ẹnikẹni lati kọ ọ. Nítorí Àmì Òróró rẹ̀ kọ́ ọ nípa ohun gbogbo, ati pe o jẹ otitọ, ati pe kii ṣe eke. Àti gẹ́gẹ́ bí Àmì Òróró rẹ̀ ti kọ́ yín, ma gbe inu re.
2:28	Ati nisisiyi, awọn ọmọ kekere, ma gbe inu re, ki nigbati o han, a le ni igbagbo, kí a má sì dójú tì wá nígbà tí ó dé.

John 1: 19- 28

1:19	And this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to him, so that they might ask him, "Tani e?”
1:20	And he confessed it and did not deny it; and what he confessed was: “I am not the Christ.”
1:21	Nwọn si bi i lẽre: “Then what are you? Are you Elijah?O si wipe, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?O si dahùn, "Bẹẹkọ."
1:22	Nitorina, nwọn si wi fun u: "Tani e, so that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?”
1:23	O ni, “I am a voice crying out in the desert, ‘Make straight the way of the Lord,’ just as the prophet Isaiah said.”
1:24	And some of those who had been sent were from among the Pharisees.
1:25	And they questioned him and said to him, “Then why do you baptize, if you are not the Christ, and not Elijah, and not the Prophet?”
1:26	John answered them by saying: “I baptize with water. But in your midst stands one, whom you do not know.
1:27	The same is he who is to come after me, who has been placed ahead of me, the laces of whose shoes I am not worthy to loosen.”
1:28	These things happened in Bethania, ní òdìkejì Jọ́dánì, where John was baptizing.
