The Letter of Saint Paul to the Philippians 3: 17- 4:1

3:17 Ẹ jẹ́ aláfarawé mi, awọn arakunrin, kí o sì kíyèsí àwọn tí ń rìn bákan náà, gẹgẹ bi o ti rii nipasẹ apẹẹrẹ wa.
3:18 Fun ọpọlọpọ eniyan, nipa ẹniti mo ti sọ fun ọ nigbagbogbo (ati nisisiyi sọ fun ọ, ẹkún,) nrin bi ota agbelebu Kristi.
3:19 Ìparun ni òpin wọn; ọlọrun wọn ni ikùn wọn; ògo wọn sì wà nínú ìtìjú wọn: nitoriti a baptisi wọn ninu awọn ohun ti aiye.
3:20 Ṣugbọn ọna igbesi aye wa ni ọrun. Ati lati ọrun, pelu, a nreti Olugbala, Oluwa wa Jesu Kristi,
3:21 tí yóò yí ara ìrẹ̀lẹ̀ wa padà, gẹgẹ bi irisi ara ogo rẹ, nípasẹ̀ agbára náà tí ó fi lè fi ohun gbogbo sábẹ́ ara rẹ̀.

4:1 Igba yen nko, awọn arakunrin mi olufẹ julọ ati awọn ti o fẹ julọ, ayo mi ati ade mi: duro ṣinṣin ni ọna yii, ninu Oluwa, olufẹ julọ.

Matteu 16: 1-8

16:1 And Pharisees and Sadducees approached him to test him, and they asked him to show them a sign from heaven.

16:2 But he responded by saying to them: “When evening arrives, o sọ, ‘It will be calm, for the sky is red,'

16:3 ati ni owurọ, ‘Today there will be a storm, for the sky is red and gloomy.’ So then, you know how to judge the appearance of the sky, but you are unable to know the signs of the times?

16:4 An evil and adulterous generation seeks a sign. And a sign shall not be given to it, except the sign of the prophet Jonah.” And leaving them behind, o lọ.

16:5 And when his disciples went across the sea, they forgot to bring bread.

16:6 O si wi fun wọn pe, “Consider and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.”

16:7 But they were thinking within themselves, wipe, “It is because we have not brought bread.”

16:8 Nigbana ni Jesu, mọ eyi, sọ: “Why do you consider within yourselves, Eyin kekere ninu igbagbo, that it is because you have no bread?
