Korinti akọkọ 10: 14-22

10:14 Nitori eyi, ayanfẹ mi julọ, sá fún òrìṣà.

10:15 Níwọ̀n bí mo ti ń bá àwọn ọlọ́gbọ́n sọ̀rọ̀, Ẹ ṣe ìdájọ́ ohun tí mo sọ fún ara yín.

10:16 Ago ibukun t‘a bukun, ṣe kii ṣe idapọ ninu Ẹjẹ Kristi? Ati akara ti a bu, ṣe kii ṣe ikopa ninu Ara Oluwa?

10:17 Nipasẹ akara kan, awa, botilẹjẹpe ọpọlọpọ, jẹ ara kan: gbogbo àwa tí a pín nínú búrẹ́dì kan náà.

10:18 Gbé Ísírẹ́lì yẹ̀ wò, gẹgẹ bi ara. Àbí àwọn tí wọ́n ń jẹ nínú ẹbọ náà kì í ṣe alábápín nínú pẹpẹ?

10:19 Kini atẹle? Ṣé kí n sọ pé ohun tí wọ́n fi ère òrìṣà jẹ́ ohunkóhun? Tabi pe oriṣa jẹ ohunkohun?

10:20 Ṣugbọn awọn ohun ti awọn Keferi immolate, nwọn immolate si awọn ẹmi èṣu, ati ki o ko si Ọlọrun. Èmi kò sì fẹ́ kí ẹ di alábàápín pẹ̀lú àwọn ẹ̀mí èṣù.

10:21 O ko le mu ago Oluwa, ati ago awọn ẹmi èṣu. Ẹnyin ko le ṣe alabapin ninu tabili Oluwa, àti alábàápín tábìlì àwọn ẹ̀mí èṣù.

10:22 Àbí kí a mú Olúwa jowú? Ṣé a lágbára ju òun lọ? Gbogbo nkan lo ye mi, ṣugbọn kii ṣe gbogbo rẹ ni iwulo.

Luku 6: 43-49

6:43 For there is no good tree which produces bad fruit, nor does an evil tree produce good fruit. 6:44 For each and every tree is known by its fruit. For they do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather the grape from the bramble bush.

6:45 A good man, from the good storehouse of his heart, offers what is good. And an evil man, from the evil storehouse, offers what is evil. For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

6:46 But why do you call me, ‘Oluwa, Oluwa,’ and not do what I say?

\6:47 Anyone who comes to me, and listens to my words, and does them: I will reveal to you what he is like.

6:48 He is like a man building a house, who has dug deep and has laid the foundation upon the rock. Lẹhinna, when the floodwaters came, the river was rushing against that house, and it was not able to move it. For it was founded upon the rock.

6:49 But whoever hears and does not do: he is like a man building his house upon the soil, without a foundation. The river rushed against it, and it soon fell down, and the ruin of that house was great.”
