Iwe akọkọ ti Saint John 2: 29- 3:6

2:29 Ti o ba mọ pe o jẹ olododo, lẹhinna mọ, pelu, pé láti ọ̀dọ̀ rẹ̀ ni a ti bí gbogbo àwọn tí ń ṣe ohun kan.
3:1 Wo iru ife ti Baba fi fun wa, pé a ó pè wá, ati pe yoo di, awon omo Olorun. Nitori eyi, aye ko mo wa, nitoriti kò mọ̀ ọ.
3:2 Olufẹ julọ, a jẹ ọmọ Ọlọrun ni bayi. Ṣugbọn ohun ti a yoo jẹ nigbana ko ti han sibẹsibẹ. A mọ pe nigba ti o ba farahan, àwa yóò dàbí rÆ, nítorí àwa yóò rí i bí ó ti rí.
3:3 Ati olukuluku ẹniti o di ireti yi mu ninu rẹ, ń pa ara rẹ̀ mọ́, gẹ́gẹ́ bí òun náà ti jẹ́ mímọ́.
3:4 Gbogbo ẹni tí ó bá dá ẹ̀ṣẹ̀, tun ṣe aiṣedede. Nitori ẹṣẹ jẹ aiṣedede.
3:5 Ẹ sì mọ̀ pé ó farahàn kí ó lè mú ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ wa lọ. Nítorí kò sí ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ nínú rẹ̀.
3:6 Gbogbo ẹni tí ó bá ń gbé inú rẹ̀ kì í dẹ́ṣẹ̀. Nítorí ẹni tí ó bá dẹ́ṣẹ̀ kò rí i, kò sì mọ̀ ọ́n.

Ihinrere Mimọ Ni ibamu si Johannu 1: 29-34

1:29 Ni ojo keji, John saw Jesus coming toward him, o si wipe: “Kiyesi, the Lamb of God. Kiyesi i, he who takes away the sin of the world.
1:30 This is the one about whom I said, ‘After me arrives a man, who has been placed ahead of me, because he existed before me.’
1:31 And I did not know him. Yet it is for this reason that I come baptizing with water: so that he may be made manifest in Israel.”
1:32 And John offered testimony, wipe: “For I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove; and he remained upon him.
1:33 And I did not know him. But he who sent me to baptize with water said to me: ‘He over whom you will see the Spirit descending and remaining upon him, this is the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’
1:34 Mo si ri, and I gave testimony: that this one is the Son of God.”
