Handlungen 9: 26-31
| 9:26 | And when he had arrived in Jerusalem, he attempted to join himself to the disciples. And they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple. |
| 9:27 | But Barnabas took him aside and led him to the Apostles. And he explained to them how he had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken to him, and how, in Damascus, he had acted faithfully in the name of Jesus. |

| 9:29 | He also was speaking with the Gentiles and disputing with the Greeks. But they were seeking to kill him. |

Erster Johannesbrief 3: 18-24

John 15: 1- 8
| 15:1 | „Ich bin der wahre Weinstock, und mein Vater ist der Weingärtner. |
| 15:2 | Jede Rebe in mir, die keine Frucht bringt, er wird wegnehmen. Und jeder, der Frucht bringt, er wird reinigen, damit es mehr Frucht bringt. |

| 15:4 | Bleibe in mir, und ich in dir. So wie der Zweig selbst keine Frucht bringen kann, es sei denn, es bleibt im Weinstock, so bist du auch nicht in der Lage, es sei denn, du bleibst in mir. |
| 15:5 | Ich bin der Weinstock; Ihr seid die Zweige. Wer auch immer in mir bleibt, und ich in ihm, bringt viel Frucht. Denn ohne mich, Du kannst nichts tun. |
