Erste Lesung

The Book of the Prophet Amos 7: 12-15

7:12	And Amaziah said to Amos, “You, seer, go out and flee into the land of Judah, and eat bread there, and prophesy there.
7:13	And in Bethel, do not prophesy any longer, because it is the king’s sanctuary, and it is the house of the kingdom.”
7:14	And Amos responded, and he said to Amasias, “I am not a prophet, and I am not the son of a prophet, but I am a herdsman plucking from wild fig trees.
7:15	And the Lord took me, when I was following the flock, and the Lord said to me, 'Gehen, prophesy to my people Israel.’ ”

Zweite Lesung

Der Brief des heiligen Paulus an die Epheser 1: 3-14

1:3	Gesegnet sei der Gott und Vater unseres Herrn Jesus Christus, der uns mit allen spirituellen Segnungen im Himmel gesegnet hat, in Christus,
1:4	so wie er uns vor Grundlegung der Welt in sich erwählt hat, damit wir in seinen Augen heilig und makellos seien, in Wohltätigkeit.
1:5	Er hat uns dazu prädestiniert, als Söhne adoptiert zu werden, durch Jesus Christus, in sich selbst, nach dem Zweck seines Willens,
1:6	zum Lob der Herrlichkeit seiner Gnade, die er uns in seinem geliebten Sohn geschenkt hat.
1:7	In ihm, wir haben Erlösung durch sein Blut: die Vergebung der Sünden im Einklang mit dem Reichtum seiner Gnade,
1:8	das in uns im Überfluss vorhanden ist, mit aller Weisheit und Besonnenheit.
1:9	So offenbart er uns das Geheimnis seines Willens, die er in Christus dargelegt hat, auf eine Weise, die ihm gefällt,
1:10	in der Evangeliumszeit der Fülle der Zeit, um in Christus alles zu erneuern, was durch ihn im Himmel und auf Erden existiert.
1:11	In ihm, Auch wir sind zu unserem Teil berufen, vorherbestimmt im Einklang mit dem Plan dessen, der alles durch den Rat seines Willens vollbringt.
1:12	Das mögen wir sein, zum Lob seiner Herrlichkeit, wir, die wir vorher auf Christus gehofft haben.
1:13	In ihm, Du auch, nachdem du das Wort der Wahrheit gehört und geglaubt hast, welches das Evangelium deiner Erlösung ist, wurden mit dem Heiligen Geist der Verheißung versiegelt.
1:14	Er ist der Pfand unseres Erbes, zum Erwerb der Erlösung, zum Lob seiner Herrlichkeit.

Evangelium

The Holy Gospel According to Mark 6: 7-13

6:7	And he called the twelve. And he began to send them out in twos, and he gave them authority over unclean spirits.
6:8	And he instructed them not to take anything for the journey, except a staff: no traveling bag, no bread, and no money belt,
6:9	but to wear sandals, and not to wear two tunics.
6:10	Und er sagte zu ihnen: “Whenever you have entered into a house, stay there until you depart from that place.
6:11	And whoever will neither receive you, nor listen to you, as you go away from there, shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them.”
6:12	Und rausgehen, they were preaching, so that people would repent.
6:13	And they cast out many demons, and they anointed many of the sick with oil and healed them.
