1:1 Paul, ein Apostel Jesu Christi durch den Willen Gottes, an alle Heiligen, die in Ephesus sind, und an die Gläubigen in Christus Jesus.

1:2 Gnade und Friede sei mit dir von Gott dem Vater, und vom Herrn Jesus Christus.

1:3 Gesegnet sei der Gott und Vater unseres Herrn Jesus Christus, der uns mit allen spirituellen Segnungen im Himmel gesegnet hat, in Christus,

1:4 so wie er uns vor Grundlegung der Welt in sich erwählt hat, damit wir in seinen Augen heilig und makellos seien, in Wohltätigkeit.

1:5 Er hat uns dazu prädestiniert, als Söhne adoptiert zu werden, durch Jesus Christus, in sich selbst, nach dem Zweck seines Willens,

1:6 zum Lob der Herrlichkeit seiner Gnade, die er uns in seinem geliebten Sohn geschenkt hat.

1:7 In ihm, wir haben Erlösung durch sein Blut: die Vergebung der Sünden im Einklang mit dem Reichtum seiner Gnade,

1:8 das in uns im Überfluss vorhanden ist, mit aller Weisheit und Besonnenheit.

1:9 So offenbart er uns das Geheimnis seines Willens, die er in Christus dargelegt hat, auf eine Weise, die ihm gefällt,

1:10 in der Evangeliumszeit der Fülle der Zeit, um in Christus alles zu erneuern, was durch ihn im Himmel und auf Erden existiert.

11:47	Woe to you, who build the tombs of the prophets, while it is your fathers who killed them!
11:48	Deutlich, you are testifying that you consent to the actions of your fathers, because even though they killed them, you build their sepulchers.
11:49	Because of this also, the wisdom of God said: I will send to them Prophets and Apostles, and some of these they will kill or persecute,
11:50	so that the blood of all the Prophets, which has been shed since the foundation of the world, may be charged against this generation:
11:51	from the blood of Abel, even to the blood of Zachariah, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary. So I say to you: it will be required of this generation!
11:52	Woe to you, experts in the law! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You yourselves do not enter, and those who were entering, you would have prohibited.”
11:53	Dann, while he was saying these things to them, the Pharisees and the experts in the law began to insist strongly that he restrain his mouth about many things.
11:54	And waiting to ambush him, they sought something from his mouth that they might seize upon, in order to accuse him.
