Исаија 45: 1, 4-6

 

45:1Thus says the Lord to my anointed Cyrus, whose right hand I hold, so that I may subjugate the nations before his face, and I may turn the backs of kings, and I may open the doors before him, and so that the gates will not be shut

45:4For the sake of Jacob, слуго мој, и Израел, my elect, I have even called you by your name. I have taken you up, а ниси ме познавао.

45:5Ја сам Господ, and there is no one else. There is no god beside me. I girded you, а ниси ме познавао.

45:6So may those who are from the rising of the sun, and those who are from its setting, know that there is no one beside me. Ја сам Господ, и нема друге.

First Thessalonians 1: 1-5

 

1:1Павле и Силван и Тимотеј, у солунску цркву, у Бога Оца и Господа Исуса Христа.

1:2Благодат и мир теби. Богу се увек захваљујемо за све вас, чувајући успомену на тебе у нашим молитвама без престанка,

1:3сећајући се свог дела вере, и тешкоћа, и доброчинства, и трајна нада, у Господу нашем Исусу Христу, пред Богом Оцем нашим.

1:4Јер знамо, браћа, љубљени од Бога, вашег избора.

1:5Јер наше Јеванђеље није било међу вама само речју, али и у врлини, и у Духа Светога, и са великом пуноћом, на исти начин као што знате да смо радили међу вама.

Маттхев 22: 15-21

 

2:15 Then the Pharisees, Излазим, took counsel as to how they might entrap him in speech.

22:16 And they sent their disciples to him, with the Herodians, говорећи: „Учитељу, we know that you are truthful, and that you teach the way of God in truth, and that the influence of others is nothing to you. For you do not consider the reputation of men.

22:17 Стога, tell us, how does it seem to you? Is it lawful to pay the census tax to Caesar, или не?”

22:19 Show me the coin of the census tax.” And they offered him a denarius.
