Acts of the Apostles 3: 1-10

3:1Now Peter and John went up to the temple at the ninth hour of prayer.
3:2And a certain man, who was lame from his mother’s womb, was being carried in. They would lay him every day at the gate of the temple, which is called the Beautiful, so that he might request alms from those entering into the temple.
3:3And this man, when he had seen Peter and John beginning to enter the temple, was begging, so that he might receive alms.
3:4Then Peter and John, gazing at him, گفت, “Look at us.”
3:5And he looked intently at them, hoping that he might receive something from them.
3:6But Peter said: “Silver and gold is not mine. But what I have, I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, rise up and walk.”
3:7And taking him by the right hand, he lifted him up. And immediately his legs and feet were strengthened.
3:8And leaping up, he stood and walked around. And he entered with them into the temple, walking and leaping and praising God.
3:9And all the people saw him walking and praising God.
3:10And they recognized him, that he was the same one who was sitting for alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. And they were filled with awe and amazement at what had happened to him.

The Holy Gospel According to Luke 24: 13- 35

24:13و ببین, two of them went out, on the same day, to a town named Emmaus, which was the distance of sixty stadia from Jerusalem.
24:14And they spoke to one another about all of these things that had occurred.
24:15و این اتفاق افتاد, while they were speculating and questioning within themselves, Jesus himself, drawing near, traveled with them.
24:16But their eyes were restrained, so that they would not recognize him.
What are these words, which you are discussing with one another, as you walk and are sad?”
24:18و یکی از آنها, whose name was Cleopas, responded by saying to him, “Are you the only one visiting Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?”
و گفتند, “About Jesus of Nazareth, who was a noble prophet, powerful in works and in words, before God and all the people.
24:20And how our high priests and leaders handed him over to be condemned to death. And they crucified him.
24:21But we were hoping that he would be the Redeemer of Israel. و حالا, on top of all this, today is the third day since these things have happened.
24:22سپس, هم, certain women from among us terrified us. For before daytime, they were at the tomb,
24:23و, having not found his body, they returned, saying that they had even seen a vision of Angels, who said that he is alive.
24:24And some of us went out to the tomb. And they found it just as the women had said. اما واقعا, they did not find him.”
How foolish and reluctant in heart you are, to believe everything that has been spoken by the Prophets!
24:26Was not the Christ required to suffer these things, and so enter into his glory?”
24:27And beginning from Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted for them, in all the Scriptures, the things that were about him.
24:28And they drew near to the town where they were going. And he conducted himself so as to go on further.
24:29But they were insistent with him, گفتن, “Remain with us, because it is toward evening and now daylight is declining.” And so he entered with them.
24:30و این اتفاق افتاد, while he was at table with them, he took bread, and he blessed and broke it, and he extended it to them.
24:31And their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And he vanished from their eyes.
Was not our heart burning within us, while he was speaking on the way, and when he opened the Scriptures to us?”
24:33And rising up at that same hour, they returned to Jerusalem. And they found the eleven gathered together, and those who were with them,
In truth, the Lord has risen, and he has appeared to Simon.”
24:35And they explained the things that were done on the way, and how they had recognized him at the breaking of the bread.

2:36از این رو, may the entire house of Israel know most certainly that God has made this same Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”
2:37Now when they had heard these things, they were contrite in heart, and they said to Peter and to the other Apostles: “What should we do, noble brothers?”
Peter said to them: “Do penance; and be baptized, each one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins. And you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
2:39For the Promise is for you and for your sons, and for all who are far away: for whomever the Lord our God will have called.”
2:40و سپس, with very many other words, he testified and he exhorted them, گفتن, “Save yourselves from this depraved generation.”
2:41از این رو, those who accepted his discourse were baptized. And about three thousand souls were added on that day.

The Holy Gospel According to John 20: 11-18

20:11But Mary was standing outside the tomb, گریه کردن. سپس, while she was weeping, she bowed down and gazed into the tomb.
20:12And she saw two Angels in white, sitting where the body of Jesus had been placed, one at the head, and one at the feet.
20:13They say to her, «زن, چرا گریه میکنی?” She said to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have placed him.”
20:14When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not know that it was Jesus.
20:15Jesus said to her: «زن, چرا گریه میکنی? Who are you seeking?” Considering that it was the gardener, او به او گفت, “Sir, if you have moved him, tell me where you have placed him, and I will take him away.”
20:16Jesus said to her, “Mary!” (which means, Teacher).
20:17Jesus said to her: “Do not touch me. For I have not yet ascended to my Father. But go to my brothers and tell them: ‘I am ascending to my Father and to your Father, to my God and to your God.’ ”
20:18Mary Magdalene went, announcing to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord, and these are the things that he said to me.”

The Acts of the Apostles 2:14, 2:22-33

2:14But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and he spoke to them: “Men of Judea, and all those who are staying in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and incline your ears to my words.
2:15For these men are not inebriated, as you suppose, for it is the third hour of the day.
2:16But this is what was spoken of by the prophet Joel:
2:17‘And this shall be: in the last days, I will pour out, from my Spirit, upon all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy. And your youths shall see visions, and your elders shall dream dreams.
2:18And certainly, upon my men and women servants in those days, I will pour out from my Spirit, and they shall prophesy.
2:19And I will bestow wonders in heaven above, and signs on earth below: blood and fire and the vapor of smoke.
2:20The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the great and manifest day of the Lord arrives.
2:21و این خواهد بود: whoever shall invoke the name of the Lord will be saved.’
2:22Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus the Nazarene is a man confirmed by God among you through the miracles and wonders and signs that God accomplished through him in your midst, just as you also know.
2:23This man, under the definitive plan and foreknowledge of God, was delivered by the hands of the unjust, afflicted, and put to death.
2:24And he whom God has raised up has broken the sorrows of Hell, for certainly it was impossible for him to be held by it.
2:25For David said about him: ‘I foresaw the Lord always in my sight, for he is at my right hand, so that I may not be moved.
2:26به خاطر همین, my heart has rejoiced, و زبانم شادی کرده است. علاوه بر این, my flesh shall also rest in hope.
2:27زیرا روح مرا به جهنم رها نخواهی کرد, nor will you allow your Holy One to see corruption.
You will completely fill me with happiness by your presence.’
2:29Noble brothers, permit me to speak freely to you about the Patriarch David: for he passed away and was buried, and his sepulcher is with us, even to this very day.
2:30از این رو, he was a prophet, for he knew that God had sworn an oath to him about the fruit of his loins, about the One who would sit upon his throne.
2:31Foreseeing this, he was speaking about the Resurrection of the Christ. For he was neither left behind in Hell, nor did his flesh see corruption.
2:32This Jesus, God raised up again, and of this we are all witnesses.
2:33از این رو, being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the Promise of the Holy Spirit, he poured this out, just as you now see and hear.

    Gospel according to Matthew 28: 8 – 15

28:8And they went out of the tomb quickly, with fear and in great joy, running to announce it to his disciples.
28:9و ببین, Jesus met them, گفتن, “Hail.” But they drew near and took hold of his feet, and they adored him.
28:10Then Jesus said to them: "نترس. برو, announce it to my brothers, so that they may go to Galilee. There they shall see me.”
28:11و هنگامی که آنها رفتند, ببین, some of the guards went into the city, and they reported to the leaders of the priests all that had happened.
28:12And gathering together with the elders, having taken counsel, they gave an abundant sum of money to the soldiers,
Say that his disciples arrived at night and stole him away, while we were sleeping.
28:14And if the procurator hears about this, we will persuade him, and we will protect you.”
28:15سپس, having accepted the money, they did as they were instructed. And this word has been spread among the Jews,

    Happy Easter!

The Acts of the Apostles, 10: 34, 37-43

10:34سپس, Peter, opening his mouth, گفت: “I have concluded in truth that God is not a respecter of persons.
10:37You know that the Word has been made known throughout all Judea. For beginning from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached,
10:38عیسی ناصری, whom God anointed with the Holy Spirit and with power, traveled around doing good and healing all those oppressed by the devil. For God was with him.
10:39And we are witnesses of all that he did in the region of Judea and in Jerusalem, he whom they killed by hanging him on a tree.
10:40God raised him up on the third day and permitted him to be made manifest,
10:41not to all the people, but to the witnesses preordained by God, to those of us who ate and drank with him after he rose again from the dead.
10:42And he instructed us to preach to the people, and to testify that he is the One who was appointed by God to be the judge of the living and of the dead.
10:43To him all the Prophets offer testimony that through his name all who believe in him receive the remission of sins.”

Paul to the Colossians 3: 1 – 4

3:1از این رو, if you have risen together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
3:2Consider the things that are above, not the things that are upon the earth.
3:3For you have died, and so your life is hidden with Christ in God.
3:4When Christ, your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

The First Letter of St. Paul to the Corithians 5:6 – 8

5:6It is not good for you to glory. Do you not know that a little leaven corrupts the entire mass?
5:7Purge the old leaven, so that you may become the new bread, for you are unleavened. For Christ, our Passover, has now been immolated.
5:8و همینطور, let us feast, not with the old leaven, not with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

The Holy Gospel According to John 20: 1-9

20:1Then on the first Sabbath, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and she saw that the stone had been rolled away from the tomb.
20:2از این رو, she ran and went to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, و او به آنها گفت, “They have taken the Lord away from the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him.”
Peter departed with the other disciple, and they went to the tomb.
20:4Now they both ran together, but the other disciple ran more quickly, ahead of Peter, and so he arrived at the tomb first.
20:5And when he bowed down, he saw the linen cloths lying there, but he did not yet enter.
20:6Then Simon Peter arrived, following him, and he entered the tomb, and he saw the linen cloths lying there,
20:7and the separate cloth which had been over his head, not placed with the linen cloths, but in a separate place, wrapped up by itself.
20:8Then the other disciple, who had arrived first at the tomb, also entered. And he saw and believed.
20:9For as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that it was necessary for him to rise again from the dead.

    Third Reading

Why cry out to me? Tell the sons of Israel to continue on.
14:16اکنون, lift up your staff, and extend your hand over the sea and divide it, so that the sons of Israel may walk through the midst of the sea on dry ground.
14:17Then I will harden the heart of the Egyptians, so as to pursue you. And I will be glorified in Pharaoh, and in all his army, and in his chariots, and in his horsemen.
14:18And the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord, when I will be glorified in Pharaoh, and in his chariots, as well as in his horsemen.”
14:19And the Angel of God, who preceded the camp of Israel, lifting himself up, went behind them. And the pillar of cloud, together with him, left the front for the rear
14:20and stood between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel. And it was a dark cloud, yet it illuminated the night, so that they could not succeed at approaching one another at any time all that night.
14:21And when Moses had extended his hand over the sea, the Lord took it away by an intense burning wind, blowing throughout the night, and he turned it into dry ground. And the water was divided.
14:22And the sons of Israel went in through the midst of the dried sea. For the water was like a wall at their right hand and at their left hand.
14:23And the Egyptians, pursuing them, went in after them, along with all of the horses of Pharaoh, his chariots and horsemen, through the midst of the sea.
14:24And now the morning watch had arrived, و ببین, خداوند, looking down upon the camp of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of cloud, put to death their army.
14:25And he overturned the wheels of the chariots, and they were carried into the deep. از این رو, the Egyptians said: “Let us flee from Israel. For the Lord fights on their behalf against us.”
Extend your hand over the sea, so that the waters may return on the Egyptians, over their chariots and horsemen.”
14:27And when Moses had extended his hand opposite the sea, it was returned, در نور اول, to its former place. And the fleeing Egyptians met with the waters, and the Lord immersed them in the midst of the waves.
14:28And the waters were returned, and they covered the chariots and horsemen of the entire army of Pharaoh, سازمان بهداشت جهانی, in following, had entered into the sea. And not so much as one of them was left alive.
14:29But the sons of Israel continued directly through the midst of the dried sea, and the waters were to them like a wall on the right and on the left.
14:30And so the Lord freed Israel on that day from the hand of the Egyptians.
14:31And they saw the Egyptians dead on the shore of the sea and the great hand that the Lord had exercised against them. And the people feared the Lord, and they believed in the Lord and in Moses his servant.

15:1Then Moses and the sons of Israel sang this song to the Lord, و گفتند: “Let us sing to the Lord, for he has been gloriously magnified: the horse and the rider he has cast into the sea.

    Fourth Reading

54:5For the One who made you will rule over you. And your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, will be called the God of all the earth.
54:6For the Lord has called you, like a woman forsaken and mourning in spirit, and like a wife rejected in her youth, said your God.
54:7For a brief moment, I have forsaken you, and with great pities, I will gather you.
54:8In a moment of indignation, I have hidden my face from you, for a little while. But with everlasting mercy, I have taken pity on you, said your Redeemer,
54:9For me, it is just as in the days of Noah, to whom I swore that I would no longer bring in the waters of Noah over the earth. Thus have I sworn not to be angry with you, and not to rebuke you.
54:10For the mountains will be moved, and the hills will tremble. But my mercy will not depart from you, and the covenant of my peace will not be shaken, said the Lord, who has compassion on you.
54:11O poor little ones, convulsed by the tempest, away from any consolation! I will set your stones in order, and I will lay your foundation with sapphires,
54:12and I will make your ramparts out of jasper, and your gates out of sculpted stones, and all your borders out of desirable stones.
54:13All your children will be taught by the Lord. And great will be the peace of your children.
54:14And you will be founded in justice. Depart far from oppression, for you will not be afraid. And depart from terror, for it will not approach you.

    Fifth Reading

55:1All you who thirst, come to the waters. And you who have no money: hurry, buy and eat. Approach, buy wine and milk, without money and without barter.
55:2Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and expend your labor for what does not satisfy? Listen very closely to me, and eat what is good, and then your soul will be delighted by a full measure.
55:3Incline your ear and draw near to me. And I will make an everlasting covenant with you, by the faithful mercies of David.
I have presented him as a witness to the people, as a commander and instructor to the nations.
55:5ببین, you will call to a nation that you did not know. And nations that did not know you will rush to you, because of the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel. For he has glorified you.
55:6Seek the Lord, while he is able to be found. Call upon him, while he is near.
55:7Let the impious one abandon his way, and the iniquitous man his thoughts, and let him return to the Lord, and he will take pity on him, and to our God, for he is great in forgiveness.
55:8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,
55:9For just as the heavens are exalted above the earth, so also are my ways exalted above your ways, and my thoughts above your thoughts.
55:10And in the same manner as rain and snow descend from heaven, and no longer return there, but soak the earth, and water it, and cause it to bloom and to provide seed to the sower and bread to the hungry,
55:11so also will my word be, which will go forth from my mouth. It will not return to me empty, but it will accomplish whatever I will, and it will prosper in the tasks for which I sent it.

    Sixth Reading

    Baruch 3: 9-15, 32- 4: 4

3:9گوش بده, اسرائيل, to the commandments of life! توجه کنید, so that you may learn prudence!
3:10How is it, اسرائيل, that you are in the land of your enemies,
3:11that you have grown old in a foreign land, that you are defiled with the dead, that you are regarded as among those who are descending into hell?
3:12You have forsaken the fountain of wisdom.
3:13For if you had walked in the way of God, you would certainly have lived in everlasting peace.
3:14Learn where prudence is, where virtue is, where understanding is, so that you may know at the same time where long life and prosperity are, where the light of the eyes and peace are.
3:15Who has discovered its place? And who has entered its treasure chamber?
3:32Yet he who knows the universe is familiar with her, and in his foresight he invented her, he who prepared the earth for time without end, and filled it with cattle and four-footed beasts,
3:33who sends out the light, and it goes, and who summoned it, and it obeyed him in fear.
3:34Yet the stars have given light from their posts, and they rejoiced.
3:35They were called, and so they said, “Here we are,” and they shined with cheerfulness to him who made them.
3:36This is our God, and no other can compare to him.
3:37He invented the way of all instruction, and delivered it to Jacob his child, and to Israel his beloved.
3:38بعد از این, he was seen on earth, and he conversed with men.

4:1“ ‘This is the book of the commandments of God and of the law, which exists in eternity. All those who keep it will attain to life, but those who have forsaken it, to death.
4:2تبدیل, ای یعقوب, and embrace it, walk in the way of its splendor, facing its light.
4:3Do not surrender your glory to another, nor your value to a foreign people.
4:4We have been happy, اسرائيل, because the things that are pleasing to God have been made clear to us.

    Seventh Reading

36:17“Son of man, the house of Israel lived on their own soil, and they defiled it with their ways and with their intentions. Their way, in my sight, became like the uncleanness of a menstruous woman.
36:18And so I poured out my indignation upon them, because of the blood which they shed upon the land, and because they defiled it with their idols.
36:19And I dispersed them among the Gentiles, and they have been scattered among the lands. I have judged them according to their ways and their plans.
36:20And when they walked among the Gentiles, to whom they had entered, they defiled my holy name, though it was being said about them: ‘This is the people of the Lord,’ and ‘They went forth from his land.’
36:21But I have spared my holy name, which the house of Israel has defiled among the Gentiles, to whom they entered.
36:22به این دلیل, you shall say to the house of Israel: Thus says the Lord God: I will act, not for your sake, ای خاندان اسرائیل, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have defiled among the Gentiles, to whom you entered.
36:23And I will sanctify my great name, which was defiled among the Gentiles, which you have defiled in their midst. So may the Gentiles know that I am the Lord, خداوند صبایوت می گوید, when I will have been sanctified in you, before their eyes.
I will take you away from the Gentiles, and I will gather you together from all the lands, and I will lead you into your own land.
36:25And I will pour clean water over you, and you shall be cleansed from all your filth, and I will cleanse you from all your idols.
36:26And I will give to you a new heart, and I will place in you a new spirit. And I will take away the heart of stone from your body, and I will give to you a heart of flesh.
36:27And I will place my Spirit in your midst. And I will act so that you may walk in my precepts and keep my judgments, and so that you may fulfill them.
36:28And you shall live in the land that I gave to your fathers.

    Epistle

Saint Paul’s Letter to the Romans 6: 3-11

6:3Do you not know that those of us who have been baptized in Christ Jesus have been baptized into his death?
6:4For through baptism we have been buried with him into death, به طوری که, in the manner that Christ rose from the dead, by the glory of the Father, so may we also walk in the newness of life.
6:5For if we have been planted together, in the likeness of his death, so shall we also be, in the likeness of his resurrection.
6:6For we know this: that our former selves have been crucified together with him, so that the body which is of sin may be destroyed, and moreover, so that we may no longer serve sin.
6:7For he who has died has been justified from sin.
6:8Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live together with Christ.
6:9For we know that Christ, in rising up from the dead, can no longer die: death no longer has dominion over him.
6:10For in as much as he died for sin, he died once. But in as much as he lives, he lives for God.
6:11و همینطور, you should consider yourselves to be certainly dead to sin, and to be living for God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

16:1And when the Sabbath had passed, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought aromatic spices, so that when they arrived they could anoint Jesus.
16:2And very early in the morning, on the first of the Sabbaths, they went to the tomb, the sun having now risen.
Who will roll back the stone for us, away from the entrance of the tomb?”
16:4And looking, they saw that the stone was rolled back. For certainly it was very large.
16:5And upon entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, covered with a white robe,
16:6و به آنها گفت, “Do not become frightened. You are seeking Jesus of Nazareth, the Crucified One. He has risen. He is not here. ببین, the place where they laid him.
16:7اما برو, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you into Galilee. There you shall see him, just as he told you.”

The Passion of our Lord According to John 18: 1-19: 42

61:1The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me. He has sent me to bring good news to the meek, so as to heal the contrite of heart, to preach leniency to captives and release to the confined,
61:2and so to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord and the day of vindication of our God: to console all who are mourning,
61:3to take up the mourners of Zion and to give them a crown in place of ashes, an oil of joy in place of mourning, a cloak of praise in place of a spirit of grief. و آنجا, they shall be called the strong ones of justice, the planting of the Lord, unto glorification.
61:6But you yourselves will be called the priests of the Lord. It will be said to you, “You are the ministers of our God.” You will eat from the strength of the Gentiles, and you will pride yourself on their glory.
61:8زیرا من خداوند هستم, who loves judgment and who holds hatred for robbery within a burnt offering. And I will turn their work into truth, and I will forge a perpetual covenant with them.
61:9And they will know their offspring among the nations, and their progeny in the midst of the peoples. All who see them will recognize them: that these are the offspring whom the Lord has blessed.

The Holy Gospel According to Luke 4: 16-21

4:16And he went to Nazareth, where he had been raised. And he entered into the synagogue, according to his custom, And he rose up to read.
4:17And the book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. And as he unrolled the book, he found the place where it was written:
4:18“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; به خاطر همین, he has anointed me. He has sent me to evangelize the poor, to heal the contrite of heart,
4:19to preach forgiveness to captives and sight to the blind, to release the broken into forgiveness, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord and the day of retribution.”
4:20And when he had rolled up the book, he returned it to the minister, and he sat down. And the eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fixed on him.
4:21Then he began to say to them, “On this day, this scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”

Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper

12:1The Lord also said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt:
12:2“This month will be for you the beginning of the months. It will be first in the months of the year.
On the tenth day of this month, let everyone take a lamb,
12:4But if the number is less than may suffice to be able to consume the lamb, he shall accept his neighbor, who has been joined with his house according to the number of souls that may suffice to be able to eat the lamb.
12:5And it shall be a lamb without blemish, a one year old male. طبق این آیین, you shall also take a young goat.
12:6And you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of this month. And the entire multitude of the sons of Israel shall immolate it toward evening.
12:7And they shall take from its blood, and place it on both the door posts and the upper threshold of the houses, in which they will consume it.
12:8And that night they shall eat the flesh, roasted by fire, and unleavened bread with wild lettuce.
12:11Now you shall consume it in this way: You shall gird your waist, and you shall have shoes on your feet, holding staves in your hands, and you shall consume it in haste. For it is the Passover (به این معنا که, the Crossing) of the Lord.
12:12And I will cross through the land of Egypt that night, and I will strike down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from man, even to cattle. And I will bring judgments against all the gods of Egypt.
12:13But the blood will be for you as a sign in the buildings where you will be. And I will see the blood, and I will pass over you. And the plague will not be with you to destroy, when I strike the land of Egypt.
12:14Then you shall have this day as a memorial, and you shall celebrate it as a solemnity to the Lord, در نسل های شما, as an everlasting devotion.

11:23For I have received from the Lord what I have also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus, on the same night that he was handed over, took bread,
11:24and giving thanks, he broke it, و گفت: “Take and eat. This is my body, which shall be given up for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”
11:25Similarly also, the cup, after he had eaten supper, گفتن: “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.”
11:26For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the death of the Lord, until he returns.

13:1Before the feast day of the Passover, Jesus knew that the hour was approaching when he would pass from this world to the Father. And since he had always loved his own who were in the world, he loved them unto the end.
13:2And when the meal had taken place, when the devil had now put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, to betray him,
13:3knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands and that he came from God and was going to God,
13:4he rose up from the meal, and he set aside his vestments, and when he had received a towel, he wrapped it around himself.
13:5Next he put water into a shallow bowl, and he began to wash the feet of the disciples and to wipe them with the towel with which he was wrapped.
13:6And then he came to Simon Peter. And Peter said to him, "خداوند, would you wash my feet?”
13:7Jesus responded and said to him: “What I am doing, you do not now understand. But you shall understand it afterward.”
13:8Peter said to him, “You shall never wash my feet!” Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you will have no place with me.”
13:9Simon Peter said to him, “Then Lord, not only my feet, but also my hands and my head!”
He who is washed need only wash his feet, and then he will be entirely clean. And you are clean, but not all.”
13:11For he knew which one would betray him. به این دلیل, او گفت, “You are not all clean.”
13:12و همینطور, after he washed their feet and received his vestments, when he had sat down at table again, او به آنها گفت: “Do you know what I have done for you?
13:13You call me Teacher and Lord, and you speak well: for so I am.
13:14از این رو, if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash the feet of one another.
13:15For I have given you an example, so that just as I have done for you, so also should you do.

50:4The Lord has given me a learned tongue, so that I would know how to uphold with a word, one who has weakened. He rises in the morning, he rises to my ear in the morning, so that I may heed him like a teacher.
50:5The Lord God has opened my ear. And I do not contradict him. I have not turned back.
50:6I have given my body to those who strike me, and my cheeks to those who plucked them. I have not averted my face from those who rebuked me and who spit on me.
50:7The Lord God is my helper. I have not been confounded. I have set my face like a very hard rock, and I know that I will not be confounded.
50:8He who justifies me is near. Who will speak against me? Let us stand together. Who is my adversary? Let him approach me.
50:9ببین, the Lord God is my helper. Who is the one who would condemn me? ببین, they will all be worn away like a garment; the moth will devour them.

    Gospel according to Matthew 26:14 – 25

26:14Then one of the twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, went to the leaders of the priests,
What are you willing to give me, if I hand him over to you?” So they appointed thirty pieces of silver for him.
26:16و از آن به بعد, he sought an opportunity to betray him.
26:17سپس, on the first day of Unleavened Bread, the disciples approached Jesus, گفتن, “Where do you want us to prepare for you to eat the Passover?”
26:18So Jesus said, “Go into the city, to a certain one, و به او بگو: ‘The Teacher said: My time is near. I am observing the Passover with you, along with my disciples.’ ”
26:19And the disciples did just as Jesus appointed to them. And they prepared the Passover.
26:20سپس, وقتی غروب رسید, he sat at table with his twelve disciples.
26:21And while they were eating, او گفت: “Amen I say to you, that one of you is about to betray me.”
26:22And being greatly saddened, each one of them began to say, “Surely, it is not I, خداوند?”
26:23But he responded by saying: “He who dips his hand with me into the dish, the same will betray me.
26:24در واقع, the Son of man goes, just as it has been written about him. But woe to that man by whom the Son of man will be betrayed. It would be better for that man if he had not been born.”
26:25سپس یهودا, که به او خیانت کرد, responded by saying, “Surely, it is not I, Master?” He said to him, “You have said it.”

49:1توجه کنید, you islands, and listen closely, you far away peoples. The Lord has called me from the womb; از شکم مادرم, he has been mindful of my name.
49:2And he has appointed my mouth as a sharp sword. In the shadow of his hand, he has protected me. And he has appointed me as an elect arrow. In his quiver, he has hidden me.
49:3And he has said to me: “You are my servant, اسرائيل. I will glory.”
49:4و من گفتم: “I have labored toward emptiness. I have consumed my strength without purpose and in vain. از این رو, my judgment is with the Lord, and my work is with my God.”
49:5و حالا, خداوند می گوید, who formed me from the womb as his servant, so that I may bring back Jacob to him, for Israel will not be gathered together, but I have been glorified in the eyes of the Lord and my God has become my strength,
49:6and so he has said: “It is a small thing that you should be my servant so as to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and so as to convert the dregs of Israel. I have offered you as a light for the Gentiles, so that you may be my salvation, even to the furthest regions of the earth.”

13:21وقتی عیسی این چیزها را گفت, he was troubled in spirit. And he bore witness by saying: «آمین, amen, من به شما می گویم, that one among you shall betray me.”
13:22از این رو, the disciples looked around at one another, uncertain about whom he spoke.
13:23And leaning against the bosom of Jesus was one of his disciples, the one whom Jesus loved.
Simon Peter motioned to this one and said to him, “Who is it that he is speaking about?”
13:25و همینطور, leaning against the chest of Jesus, به او گفت, "خداوند, who is it?”
It is he to whom I shall extend the dipped bread.” And when he had dipped the bread, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, son of Simon.
13:27And after the morsel, Satan entered into him. And Jesus said to him, “What you are going to do, do quickly.”
13:28Now none of those sitting at table knew why he had said this to him.
13:29For some were thinking that, because Judas held the purse, that Jesus had told him, “Buy those things which are needed by us for the feast day,” or that he might give something to the needy.
13:30از این رو, having accepted the morsel, he went out immediately. And it was night.
13:31سپس, when he had gone out, Jesus said: “Now the Son of man has been glorified, and God has been glorified in him.
13:32If God has been glorified in him, then God will also glorify him in himself, and he will glorify him without delay.
13:33Little sons, for a brief while, I am with you. تو به دنبال من خواهی بود, and just as I said to the Jews, ‘Where I am going, you are not able to go,’ so also I say to you now.
13:36Simon Peter said to him, "خداوند, where are you going?” Jesus responded: “Where I am going, you are not able to follow me now. But you shall follow afterward.”
13:37Peter said to him: “Why am I unable to follow you now? I will lay down my life for you!”
13:38عیسی به او پاسخ داد: “You will lay down your life for me? آمین, amen, من به شما می گویم, the rooster will not crow, until you deny me three times.”

42:1Behold my servant, I will uphold him, my elect, with him my soul is well-pleased. I have sent my Spirit upon him. He will offer judgment to the nations.
42:2He will not cry out, and he will not show favoritism to anyone; neither will his voice be heard abroad.
42:3The bruised reed he will not break, and the smoldering wick he will not extinguish. He will lead forth judgment unto truth.
42:4He will not be saddened or troubled, until he establishes judgment on earth. And the islands will await his law.
42:5Thus says the Lord God, who created the heavens and expanded it, who formed the earth and all that springs from it, who gives breath to the people in it, and spirit to those walking on it.
42:6من, خداوند, have called you in justice, and I have taken your hand and preserved you. And I have presented you as a covenant of the people, as a light to the Gentiles,
42:7so that you may open the eyes of the blind, and lead out the prisoner from confinement and those sitting in darkness from the house of incarceration.

12:1Then six days before the Passover, Jesus went to Bethania, where Lazarus had died, whom Jesus raised up.
12:2And they made a dinner for him there. And Martha was ministering. Lazarus was one of those who were sitting at table with him.
12:3And then Mary took twelve ounces of pure spikenard ointment, very precious, and she anointed the feet of Jesus, and she wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the ointment.
12:4Then one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, who was soon to betray him, گفت,
12:5“Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the needy?”
12:6Now he said this, not out of concern for the needy, but because he was a thief and, since he held the purse, he used to carry what was put into it.
12:7But Jesus said: “Permit her, so that she may keep it against the day of my burial.
12:8For the poor, you have with you always. But me, you do always not have.”
12:9Now a great multitude of the Jews knew that he was in that place, and so they came, not so much because of Jesus, but so that they might see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead.
12:10And the leaders of the priests planned to put Lazarus to death also.
12:11For many of the Jews, because of him, were going away and were believing in Jesus.
