La Dua Letero de Sankta Paŭlo al Timoteo 1: 1-8

1:1	Paul, Apostolo de Jesuo Kristo per la volo de Dio, konforme al la promeso de la vivo, kiu estas en Kristo Jesuo,
1:2	al Timoteo, plej amata filo. Gracio, kompaton, pacon, de Dio la Patro kaj de Kristo Jesuo, nia Sinjoro.
1:3	Mi dankas Dion, kiun mi servas, kiel faris miaj prapatroj, kun pura konscienco. Ĉar senĉese mi tenas la memoron pri vi en miaj preĝoj, nokto kaj tago,
1:4	desiring to see you, recalling your tears so as to be filled with joy,
1:5	calling to mind the same faith, which is in you unfeigned, which also first dwelt in your grandmother, Lois, and in your mother, Eunice, and also, I am certain, in you.
1:6	Pro ĉi tio, Mi admonas vin revivigi la gracon de Dio, kiu estas en vi per la altrudo de miaj manoj.
1:7	Ĉar Dio ne donis al ni spiriton de timo, sed de virto, kaj de amo, kaj de sindeteno.

La Sankta Evangelio laŭ Luko 10: 1-9

10:1	Tiam, after these things, the Lord also designated another seventy-two. And he sent them in pairs before his face, into every city and place where he was to arrive.
10:2	Kaj li diris al ili: “Certainly the harvest is great, but the workers are few. Tial, ask the Lord of the harvest to send workers into his harvest.
10:3	Go forth. Jen, I send you out like lambs among wolves.
10:4	Do not choose to carry a purse, nor provisions, nor shoes; and you shall greet no one along the way.
10:5	Into whatever house you will have entered, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’
10:6	And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest upon him. But if not, it will return to you.
10:7	And remain in the same house, eating and drinking the things that are with them. For the worker is worthy of his pay. Do not choose to pass from house to house.
10:8	And into whatever city you have entered and they have received you, eat what they set before you.
10:9	And cure the sick who are in that place, and proclaim to them, ‘The kingdom of God has drawn near to you.’
