The Second Book of Kings 4: 42-44

4:42	Now a certain man arrived from Baal-Shalishah, carrying, for the man of God, bread from the first-fruits, twenty loaves of barley, and new grain in his satchel. But he said, “Give it to the people, so that they may eat.”
4:43	And his servant responded to him, “What amount is this, that I should set it before a hundred men?” But he said again: “Give it to the people, so that they may eat. For thus says the Lord, ‘They shall eat, and there shall be still more.’ ”
4:44	Kaj tiel, he set it before them. And they ate, and there was still more, in accord with the word of the Lord.

4:1	Kaj tiel, as a prisoner in the Lord, I beg you to walk in a manner worthy of the vocation to which you have been called:
4:2	with all humility and meekness, with patience, supporting one another in charity.
4:3	Be anxious to preserve the unity of the Spirit within the bonds of peace.
4:4	One body and one Spirit: to this you have been called by the one hope of your calling:
4:5	one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
4:6	one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in us all.

La Sankta Evangelio laŭ Johano 6: 1-15

6:1	Post ĉi tiuj aferoj, Jesuo vojaĝis trans la maron de Galileo, kiu estas la Maro de Tiberias.
6:2	Kaj granda homamaso sekvis lin, cxar ili vidis la signojn, kiujn li faras al la malfortuloj.
6:3	Tial, Jesuo iris sur monton, kaj li sidiĝis tie kun siaj disĉiploj.
6:4	Nun la Pasko, la festo de la Judoj, estis proksime.
6:5	Kaj tiel, kiam Jesuo levis siajn okulojn kaj vidis, ke tre granda homamaso venas al li, li diris al Filipo, “De kie ni aĉetu panon, por ke ĉi tiuj manĝu?”
6:6	Sed li diris tion por provi lin. Ĉar li mem sciis, kion li faros.
6:7	Filipo respondis al li, "Ducent denaroj da pano ne sufiĉus por ke ĉiu el ili ricevu eĉ iom."
6:8	Unu el liaj disĉiploj, Andreo, la frato de Simon Petro, diris al li:
6:9	“Estas iu knabo ĉi tie, kiu havas kvin hordeajn panojn kaj du fiŝojn. Sed kio estas ĉi tiuj inter tiom da?”
6:10	Tiam Jesuo diris, "Lavigu la virojn sidiĝi por manĝi." Nun, estis multe da herbo en tiu loko. Kaj tiel la viroj, en nombro proksimume kvin mil, sidiĝis por manĝi.
6:11	Tial, Jesuo prenis la panon, kaj kiam li dankis, li disdonis ĝin al tiuj, kiuj sidis por manĝi; simile ankaŭ, el la fiŝoj, kiom ili volis.
6:12	Tiam, kiam ili estis plenigitaj, li diris al siaj disĉiploj, “Kolektu la restintajn fragmentojn, por ke ili ne perdiĝu.”
6:13	Kaj tiel ili kolektiĝis, kaj ili plenigis dek du korbojn per la fragmentoj de la kvin hordeaj panoj, kiuj restis el tiuj, kiuj manĝis.
6:14	Tial, tiuj viroj, kiam ili vidis, ke Jesuo faris signon, ili diris, “Vere, ĉi tiu estas la Profeto, kiu venos en la mondon.”
6:15	Kaj tiel, kiam li komprenis, ke ili venos kaj forportos lin kaj faros lin reĝo, Jesuo forkuris reen al la monto, per si sola.
