The Second Book of Samuel 7:4-5, 12-14, 16

7:4	But it happened in that night, hara, the word of the Lord came to Nathan, esanez:
7:5	«Joan, eta esan nire zerbitzari Davidi: ‘Honela dio Jaunak: Etxe bat eraikiko al didazu bizileku gisa??
7:12	Eta zure egunak beteko direnean, eta zure arbasoekin lo egingo duzu, Zure ondorengoa sortuko dut zure ondorengoa, zure ertzetatik aterako dena, eta sendotuko dut haren erreinua.
7:13	Berak eraikiko du etxea nire izenari. Eta ezarriko dut haren erreinuko tronua, baita betiko.
7:14	aita izango naiz berarentzat, eta seme izango da niretzat. Eta gaiztakeriaren bat egingo badu, Gizonen makilarekin eta gizonen semeen zauriekin zuzenduko dut.
7:16	Eta zure etxea leial izango da, eta zure erreinua izango da zure aurrean, betikotasunerako, eta zure tronua seguru egongo da etengabe».

San Paulo Erromatarrei Gutuna 4: 13, 16-18, 22

4:13	Abrahami egindako promesagatik, eta bere ondorengoei, mundua heredatuko zuela, ez zen legearen bidez, baina fedearen justiziaren bidez.
4:17	norengan sinesten zuen, hildakoak berpizten dituena eta existitzen ez diren gauza horiei deitzen diena. Zeren idatzita dago: "Nazio askoren aita bezala ezarri zaitut".
4:18	Eta sinetsi zuen, esperantzaz haraindiko itxaropenarekin, nazio askoren aita izan zedin, esandakoaren arabera: «Horrela izango da zure ondorengoak».
4:22	Eta horregatik, ospea izan zitzaion justiziari.

1:16	And Jacob conceived Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.
1:18	Now the procreation of the Christ occurred in this way. After his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they lived together, she was found to have conceived in her womb by the Holy Spirit.
1:19	Then Joseph, her husband, since he was just and was not willing to hand her over, preferred to send her away secretly.
1:20	But while thinking over these things, hara, an Angel of the Lord appeared to him in his sleep, esanez: “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to accept Mary as your wife. For what has been formed in her is of the Holy Spirit.
1:21	And she shall give birth to a son. And you shall call his name JESUS. For he shall accomplish the salvation of his people from their sins.”
1:24	Then Joseph, arising from sleep, did just as the Angel of the Lord had instructed him, and he accepted her as his wife.
