Kalakuan para Rasul 7: 6-11

7:6 Then God told him that his offspring would be a settler in a foreign land, and that they would subjugate them, and treat them badly, for four hundred years.

7:7 ‘And the nation whom they will serve, I will judge,’ said the Lord. ‘And after these things, they shall depart and shall serve me in this place.’

7:8 And he gave him the covenant of circumcision. And so he conceived Isaac and circumcised him on the eighth day. And Isaac conceived Jacob, jeung Yakub, the twelve Patriarchs.

7:9 And the Patriarchs, keur timburu, sold Joseph into Egypt. But God was with him.

7:10 And he rescued him from all his tribulations. And he gave him grace and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. And he appointed him as governor over Egypt and over all his house.

7:11 Then a famine occurred in all of Egypt and Canaan, and a great tribulation. And our fathers did not find food.

Second Reading

Letter of John 4: 7-16

4:7 Paling dipikacinta, hayu urang silih pikanyaah. Pikeun cinta téh ti Allah. Jeung dulur anu mikanyaah téh dilahirkeun ti Allah jeung nyaho ka Allah.

4:8 Saha nu teu bogoh, teu nyaho ka Allah. Pikeun Allah cinta.

4:9 Asih Allah ditingalikeun ku urang ku cara ieu: yen Allah ngutus Putra tunggal-Na ka dunya, ku kituna urang bisa hirup ngaliwatan manéhna.

4:10 Dina ieu cinta: teu saolah-olah urang geus dipikacinta Allah, tapi anjeunna mimiti dipikacinta kami, sarta ku kituna anjeunna ngutus Putra-Na salaku propitiation pikeun dosa urang.

4:11 Paling dipikacinta, lamun Allah geus kitu mikanyaah urang, urang ogé kudu silih pikanyaah.

4:12 Teu aya anu kantos ningal Gusti. Tapi lamun urang silih pikanyaah, Allah abides di urang, jeung asih-Na sampurna di urang.

4:13 Kucara kieu, urang terang yen urang abide di anjeunna, sarta anjeunna di urang: sabab Anjeunna parantos masihan ka urang tina Roh-Na.

4:14 Sarta kami geus katempo, sarta kami nyaksian, yen Rama geus ngutus Putra-Na pikeun jadi Jurusalamet dunya.

4:15 Sakur anu geus ngaku yen Isa teh Putra Allah, Allah tetep dina anjeunna, sarta anjeunna di Allah.

4:16 Sareng urang parantos terang sareng percanten kana kanyaah Allah ka urang. Gusti teh cinta. Sarta anjeunna anu abides asih, tetep ka Allah, sareng Allah dina anjeunna.

Injil

Mateus 11: 25-30

11:25 Dina waktos éta, Yesus ngawaler jeung ngadawuh: “I acknowledge you, Bapa, Lord of Heaven and earth, sabab anjeun geus nyumputkeun hal ieu ti wijaksana jeung prudent, sarta geus nembongkeun ka barudak leutik.

11:26 Sumuhun, Bapa, for this was pleasing before you.

11:27 Sagala hal geus dibikeun ka kuring ku Rama kuring. And no one knows the Son except the Father, nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and those to whom the Son is willing to reveal him.

11:28 Come to me, all you who labor and have been burdened, and I will refresh you.

11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you shall find rest for your souls.

11:30 For my yoke is sweet and my burden is light.”
