Irakurketa

First Book of Kings 17: 1-6

17:1 Eta Elias tixbitarra, Galaadeko biztanleetatik, esan zion Akabi, «Jauna bizi den bezala, Israelgo Jainkoa, noren begietan nagoen, urte hauetan ez da ihintzarik eta euririk egingo, nire ahoko hitzez izan ezik».

17:2 Eta Jaunaren hitza heldu zitzaion, esanez:

17:3 «Atera hemendik, eta zoaz ekialdera, eta ezkutatu Kerit ibaian, Jordan ibaiaren parean dagoena.

17:4 Eta han edanen duzu errekatik. Eta beleei han elikatzeko agindu diet».

17:5 Horregatik, joan eta egin zuen Jaunaren hitzaren arabera. Eta alde egitea, Cherit ibaiaren ondoan kokatu zen, Jordan ibaiaren parean dagoena.

17:6 Eta beleek ogia eta haragia eraman zioten goizean, eta era berean ogia eta haragia arratsaldean. Eta errekatik edan zuen.

Mateo 5: 1-12

5:1 Gero, seeing the crowds, he ascended the mountain, and when he had sat down, his disciples drew near to him,
5:2 and opening his mouth, he taught them, esanez:
5:3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
5:4 Blessed are the meek, for they shall possess the earth.
5:5 Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be consoled.
5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they shall be satisfied.
5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
5:10 Blessed are those who endure persecution for the sake of justice, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
5:11 Blessed are you when they have slandered you, and persecuted you, and spoken all kinds of evil against you, falsely, for my sake:
5:12 be glad and exult, for your reward in heaven is plentiful. For so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
