Kisah Para Rasul 15: 22-31

15:22	Then it pleased the Apostles and elders, with the whole Church, to choose men from among them, and to send to Antioch, with Paul and Barnabas, and Judas, who was surnamed Barsabbas, and Silas, preeminent men among the brothers,
15:23	what was written by their own hands: “The Apostles and elders, adik, to those who are at Antioch and Syria and Cilicia, brothers from the Gentiles, greetings.
15:24	Since we have heard that some, going out from among us, have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, to whom we gave no commandment,
15:25	it pleased us, being assembled as one, to choose men and to send them to you, with our most beloved Barnabas and Paul:
15:26	men who have handed over their lives on behalf of the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15:27	Oleh itu, we have sent Judas and Silas, who themselves also will, with the spoken word, reaffirm to you the same things.
15:28	For it has seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to impose no further burden upon you, other than these necessary things:
15:29	that you abstain from things immolated to idols, dan daripada darah, and from what has been suffocated, dan daripada zina. You will do well to keep yourselves from these things. Farewell.”
15:30	Dan juga, having been dismissed, they went down to Antioch. And gathering the multitude together, they delivered the epistle.
15:31	And when they had read it, they were gladdened by this consolation.

Injil Suci Menurut Yohanes 15: 12-17

15:12	Ini adalah ajaran saya: bahawa anda saling mencintai, sama seperti saya telah mengasihi awak.
15:13	Tiada siapa yang mempunyai cinta yang lebih besar daripada ini: bahawa dia menyerahkan nyawanya untuk kawan-kawannya.
15:14	Anda adalah kawan saya, jika anda melakukan apa yang saya arahkan.
15:15	Saya tidak akan memanggil kamu lagi hamba, kerana hamba itu tidak mengetahui apa yang dilakukan oleh Tuhannya. Tetapi saya telah memanggil anda kawan, kerana segala sesuatu yang telah Kudengar daripada Bapa-Ku, Saya telah memberitahu anda.
15:16	Awak belum pilih saya, tetapi saya telah memilih awak. Dan saya telah melantik kamu, supaya kamu pergi dan berbuah, dan supaya buahmu dapat bertahan lama. Kemudian apa sahaja yang kamu minta daripada Bapa dalam nama-Ku, dia akan memberikan kepada kamu.
15:17	Ini saya perintahkan kepada anda: bahawa anda saling mencintai.
