Čitanje: Djela apostolska 4:1 – 12

4:1	But while they were speaking to the people, the priests and the magistrate of the temple and the Sadducees overwhelmed them,
4:2	being grieved that they were teaching the people and announcing in Jesus the resurrection from the dead.
4:3	And they laid hands on them, and they placed them under guard until the next day. For it was now evening.
4:4	But many of those who had heard the word believed. And the number of men became five thousand.
4:5	And it happened on the next day that their leaders and elders and scribes gathered together in Jerusalem,
4:6	including Annas, vrhovni svećenik, and Caiaphas, and John and Alexander, and as many as were of the priestly family.
4:7	And stationing them in the middle, they questioned them: “By what power, or in whose name, have you done this?”
4:8	Zatim Petar, filled with the Holy Spirit, reče im: “Leaders of the people and elders, listen.
4:9	If we today are judged by a good deed done to an infirm man, by which he has been made whole,
4:10	let it be known to all of you and to all of the people of Israel, that in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God has raised from the dead, by him, this man stands before you, healthy.
4:11	He is the stone, which was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.
4:12	And there is no salvation in any other. For there is no other name under heaven given to men, by which it is necessary for us to be saved.”

Gospel according to John 21:1 – 14

21:1	I gledajući oko sebe, vidio je kako bogati stavljaju svoje donacije u ponudu.
21:2	Zatim je vidio i neku udovicu, siromah, stavljajući dva mala mjedena novčića.
21:3	I rekao je: "Uistinu, kažem ti, da je ova jadna udovica ubacila više od svih ostalih.
21:4	Za sve ove, iz njihova obilja, dodali darovima za Boga. Ali ona, od onoga što joj je trebalo, uložila sve od čega je morala živjeti.”
21:5	I kad su neki od njih govorili, o hramu, da je bila ukrašena izvrsnim kamenjem i darovima, On je rekao,
21:6	“Ove stvari koje vidite, doći će dani kada iza njih neće ostati kamen na kamenu, koja se ne baca.”
21:7	Zatim su ga ispitivali, izreka: "Učitelj, nastavnik, profesor, kada će te stvari biti? I koji će biti znak kada će se te stvari dogoditi?”
21:8	I rekao je: “Budi oprezan, da ne budeš zaveden. Jer mnogi će doći u moje ime, izreka: ‘Jer ja sam on,’ i, ‘Vrijeme se približilo.’ I tako, nemojte odlučiti ići za njima.
21:9	A kad budete čuli za bitke i pobune, nemojte se prestraviti. Ove stvari se prvo moraju dogoditi. Ali kraj nije tako skoro.”
21:10	Tada im reče: “Ljudi će ustati protiv ljudi, i kraljevstvo protiv kraljevstva.
21:11	I bit će velikih potresa na raznim mjestima, i pošasti, i gladi, i strahote s neba; i bit će velikih znakova.
21:12	Ali prije svih ovih stvari, dignut će ruke na vas i progonit će vas, predajući vas sinagogama i u pritvor, odvlačeći te pred kraljeve i namjesnike, zbog mog imena.
21:13	A ovo će vam biti prilika da svjedočite.
21:14	Stoga, stavite ovo u svoja srca: da ne biste trebali unaprijed razmatrati kako biste mogli odgovoriti.
