The First Book of Kings 18: 41-46

18:41	Dhe Elia i tha Ashabit: "Ngjitu; hani dhe pini. Sepse dëgjohet një zhurmë e madhe shiu.”
18:42	Ashabi u ngjit lart, që të hajë e të pijë. Por Elia u ngjit në majën e Karmelit, dhe duke u përkulur në tokë, e vendosi fytyrën mes gjunjëve.
18:43	Dhe ai i tha shërbëtorit të tij, “Ngjituni, dhe shiko nga deti.” Dhe kur ai u ngjit lart, dhe kishte menduar, tha ai, "Nuk ka asgjë." Dhe perseri, i tha ai, "Kthehu shtatë herë."
18:44	Dhe në të shtatën herë, ja, një re e vogël u ngjit nga deti si gjurmët e një njeriu. Dhe ai tha: “Ngjituni, dhe i thuaj Ashabit, ‘Vendosni qerren tuaj, dhe zbresin; ndryshe, shiu mund të të pengojë.”
18:45	Dhe teksa po kthehej andej-këtej, ja, u errësuan qiejt, dhe kishte re dhe erë, dhe ndodhi një stuhi e madhe shiu. Dhe kështu Ashabi, duke shkuar lart, shkoi në Jezreel.
18:46	Dhe dora e Zotit ishte mbi Elian. Dhe duke i shtrënguar belin, ai vrapoi para Ashabit, derisa arriti në Jezreel.

Ungjilli

Ungjilli i Shenjtë sipas Mateut 5: 20-26

5:20	For I say to you, that unless your justice has surpassed that of the scribes and the Pharisees you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
5:21	You have heard that it was said to the ancients: ‘You shall not murder; whoever will have murdered shall be liable to judgment.’
5:22	But I say to you, that anyone who becomes angry with his brother shall be liable to judgment. But whoever will have called his brother, ‘Idiot,’ shall be liable to the council. Pastaj, whoever will have called him, ‘Worthless,’ shall be liable to the fires of Hell.
5:23	Prandaj, if you offer your gift at the altar, and there you remember that your brother has something against you,
5:24	leave your gift there, before the altar, and go first to be reconciled to your brother, and then you may approach and offer your gift.
5:25	Be reconciled with your adversary quickly, while you are still on the way with him, lest perhaps the adversary may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you will be thrown in prison.
5:26	Amen po ju them, that you shall not go forth from there, until you have repaid the last quarter.
