Eksodi 22: 20-26

22:20 Whoever immolates to gods, other than to the Lord, shall be killed. 22:21 You shall not harass the newcomer, nor shall you afflict him. For you yourselves were once newcomers in the land of Egypt.

22:22 You shall not harm a widow or an orphan.

22:23 If you hurt them, they will cry out to me, and I will hear their cry.

22:24 And my fury will be enraged, and I will strike you down with the sword. And your wives will become widows, and your sons will become orphans.

22:25 If you lend money to the poor of my people who live among you, you shall not coerce them like a collector, nor oppress them with usury.

22:26 If you take a garment from your neighbor as a pledge, you shall return it to him again before the setting of the sun

Thesalonikasve 1: 5-10

1:5 Sepse Ungjilli ynë nuk ka qenë mes jush vetëm me fjalë, por edhe në virtyt, dhe në Frymën e Shenjtë, dhe me një plotësi të madhe, në të njëjtën mënyrë siç e dini, ne kemi vepruar mes jush për hirin tuaj.

1:6 Dhe kështu, u bëtë imitues të nesh dhe të Zotit, duke pranuar Fjalën në mes të shtrëngimit të madh, por me gëzimin e Frymës së Shenjtë.

1:7 Pra, a jeni bërë model për të gjithë ata që besojnë në Maqedoni dhe në Akai.

1:8 Për nga ju, Fjala e Zotit u përhap, jo vetëm në Maqedoni dhe në Akai, por edhe në çdo vend. Besimi juaj, që është drejt Zotit, ka avancuar aq shumë sa nuk kemi nevojë të flasim me ju për asgjë.

1:9 Sepse të tjerët po raportojnë mes nesh për llojin e pranimit që kishim mes jush, dhe si u kthyet nga idhujt në Perëndi, në shërbim të Perëndisë së gjallë dhe të vërtetë,

1:10 dhe në pritje të Birit të tij nga qielli (të cilin e ringjalli prej së vdekurish), Jezusin, i cili na ka shpëtuar nga zemërimi që po afrohet.

Mateu 22: 33-40

22:33 And when the crowds heard this, they wondered at his doctrine. 22:34 But the Pharisees, hearing that he had caused the Sadducees to be silent, came together as one.

22:35 And one of them, a doctor of the law, questioned him, to test him:

22:36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”

22:37 Jezusi i tha atij: “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God from all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your mind.’

22:38 This is the greatest and first commandment.

22:39 But the second is similar to it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself’

22:40 On these two commandments the entire law depends, and also the prophets.”
