An Chéad Litir chuig na Corantaigh 1: 10-13, 17

1:10 Agus mar sin, impím ort, deartháireacha, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that every one of you speak in the same way, and that there be no schisms among you. So may you become perfect, with the same mind and with the same judgment.

1:11 For it has been indicated to me, about you, my brothers, by those who are with Chloes, that there are contentions among you.

1:12 Now I say this because each of you is saying: “Cinnte, Is le Pól mé;” “But I am of Apollo;” “Truly, I am of Cephas;” as well as: “I am of Christ.”

1:13 Has Christ been divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?

1:17 óir níor chuir Críost mé chun baisteadh, ach a evangelize: ní trí eagna na bhfocal, ar eagla go mbeadh crois Chríost folamh. –
