Leabhar an Fháidh Isaiah 55: 10-11

55:10 And in the same manner as rain and snow descend from heaven, and no longer return there, but soak the earth, and water it, and cause it to bloom and to provide seed to the sower and bread to the hungry,
55:11 so also will my word be, which will go forth from my mouth. It will not return to me empty, but it will accomplish whatever I will, and it will prosper in the tasks for which I sent it.

Dara Léamh

Rómhánaigh 8: 18-23

8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this time are not worthy to be compared with that future glory which shall be revealed in us.

8:19 For the anticipation of the creature anticipates the revelation of the sons of God.

8:20 For the creature was made subject to emptiness, not willingly, but for the sake of the One who made it subject, unto hope.

8:21 For the creature itself shall also be delivered from the servitude of corruption, into the liberty of the glory of the sons of God.

8:22 For we know that every creature groans inwardly, as if giving birth, fiú go dtí seo;

8:23 and not only these, but also ourselves, since we hold the first-fruits of the Spirit. For we also groan within ourselves, anticipating our adoption as the sons of God, and the redemption of our body.

Soiscéal

Matha 13: 1-23

13:1 Sa lá sin, Íosa, ag imeacht ón teach, shuigh síos cois na farraige.

13:2 Agus bhailigh na sluaite móra sin chuige gur dhreap sé isteach i mbád agus shuigh sé síos. Agus sheas an slua ar fad ar an gcladach.

13:3 Agus labhair sé a lán rudaí leo i barabail, ag rá: "Féach, chuaigh síoladóir amach chun síol a chur.

13:4 Agus le linn dó a bheith ag cur, thit cuid acu in aice leis an mbóthar, agus tháinig éanlaith an aeir agus d’ith siad é.

13:5 Ansin thit daoine eile in áit creagach, áit nach raibh mórán ithreach acu. Agus d'éirigh siad suas go pras, mar ní raibh aon doimhneacht ithreach acu.

13:6 Ach nuair a d'éirigh an ghrian suas, bhí siad scorched, agus toisc nach raibh fréamhacha acu, feoite siad.

13:7 Thit cuid eile fós i measc dealga, agus mhéadaigh na dealga agus suffocated iad.

13:8 Ach thit roinnt eile ar ithir mhaith, agus tháirg siad torthaí: timpeall céad uaire, timpeall seasca huaire, thart ar tríocha huaire.

13:9 An té a bhfuil cluasa aige chun éisteacht leis, lig dó éisteacht."

13:10 Agus tháinig a dheisceabail i ngar dó agus dúirt siad, “Cén fáth a labhraíonn tú leo i bparabail?”

13:11 Ag freagairt, ar seisean leo: “Toisc go bhfuil sé tugtha duit eolas a fháil ar rúndiamhra ríocht na bhflaitheas, ach níl sé tugtha dóibh.

13:12 Don té a bhfuil, tabharfar dó é, agus beidh go líonmhar aige. Ach an té nach bhfuil, bainfear uaidh fiú an méid atá aige.

13:13 Ar an gcuis, Labhraím leo i bparabail: toisc go bhfaca, ní fheiceann siad, agus éisteacht nach gcloiseann siad, ná ní thuigeann siad.

13:14 Agus mar sin, iontu go bhfuil an tuar Isaiah comhlíonta, Cé a dúirt, ‘Éisteacht, cloisfidh tú, ach ní thuigeann; agus go bhfaca, feicfidh tú, ach ní bhrath.

13:15 Chun croí na ndaoine seo tar éis fás saille, agus lena gcluasa cloiseann siad go trom, agus tá a súile dúnta acu, ar eagla go bhfeicfidís tráth ar bith lena súile, agus éisteann lena gcluasa, agus a thuiscint lena gcroí, agus a thiontú, agus ansin leighisfinn iad.’

13:16 Ach is beannaithe bhur súile, toisc go bhfeiceann siad, agus do chluasa, toisc go gcloiseann siad.

13:17 Amen a deirim libh, cinnte, go bhfuil go leor de na fáithe agus na díreach atá ag teastáil a fheiceáil cad a fheiceann tú, agus fós ní fhaca siad é, agus an méid a chloiseann tú a chloisteáil, agus fós níor chuala siad é.

13:18 Éist, ansin, to the parable of the sower.

13:19 With anyone who hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, evil comes and carries away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received the seed by the side of the road.

13:20 Then whoever has received the seed upon a rocky place, this is one who hears the word and promptly accepts it with joy.

13:21 But he has no root in himself, so it is only for a time; ansin, when tribulation and persecution occur because of the word, he promptly stumbles.

13:22 And whoever has received the seed among thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of this age and the falseness of riches suffocate the word, and he is effectively without fruit.

13:23 Ach go fírinneach, whoever has received the seed into good soil, this is he who hears the word, and understands it, and so he bears fruit, and he produces: some a hundred fold, and another sixty fold, and another thirty fold.”
