18:18	I rekli su: “Dođi, and let us devise a plan against Jeremiah. For the law will not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor a sermon from the prophet. Come, and let us strike him with the tongue, and let us pay no attention to any of his words.”
18:19	Attend to me, o Bože, and hear the voice of my adversaries.
18:20	Should evil be rendered for good? For they have dug a pit for my soul! Remember that I have stood in your sight, so as to speak on their behalf for good, and to avert your indignation from them.

20:17	I Isus, ascending to Jerusalem, took the twelve disciples aside in private and said to them:
20:18	“Gle, we are ascending to Jerusalem, and the Son of man shall be handed over to the leaders of the priests and to the scribes. And they shall condemn him to death.
20:19	And they shall hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and scourged and crucified. I trećeg dana, he shall rise again.”
20:20	Tada mu pristupi majka sinova Zebedejevih, sa svojim sinovima, obožavajući ga, i tražeći nešto od njega.
20:21	I rekao joj je, "Što želiš?“, rekla mu je, “Izjavite da ovi, moja dva sina, može sjediti, jedan s tvoje desne strane, a drugi s vaše lijeve strane, u tvome kraljevstvu.”
20:22	Ali Isuse, odgovarajući, rekao je: “Ne znate što tražite. Možeš li piti iz kaleža, iz koje ću piti?” Rekoše mu, "U mogućnosti smo."
20:23	Rekao im je: “Iz moga kaleža, doista, ti ćeš piti. Ali sjediti s moje desne ili lijeve strane nije moje da ti dam, nego je za one za koje ju je pripravio moj Otac.”
20:24	I desetica, čuvši ovo, ogorčio se na dva brata.
20:25	Ali Isus ih pozva k sebi i reče: “Vi znate da su prvi među poganima njihovi vladari, i da oni koji su veći vrše vlast među njima.
20:26	Među vama neka ne bude tako. Ali tko hoće među vama biti veći, neka vam bude ministar.
20:27	I tko hoće da bude prvi među vama, on će biti vaš sluga,
20:28	kao što ni Sin čovječji nije došao da bude služen, ali služiti, i dati svoj život kao iskupljenje za mnoge.”
