The Letter to the Hebrews 2: 5-12

2:5	For God did not subject the future world, about which we are speaking, to the Angels.
2:6	But someone, in a certain place, has testified, ag rá: “What is man, that you are mindful of him, or the Son of man, that you visit him?
2:7	You have reduced him to a little less than the Angels. You have crowned him with glory and honor, and you have set him over the works of your hands.
2:8	You have subjected all things under his feet.” For in as much as he has subjected all things to him, he has left nothing not subject to him. But in the present time, we do not yet perceive that all things have been made subject to him.
2:9	Yet we understand that Jesus, who was reduced to a little less than the Angels, was crowned with glory and honor because of his Passion and death, in order that, trí ghrásta Dé, he might taste death for all.
2:10	For it was fitting for him, because of whom and through whom all things exist, who had led many children into glory, to complete the authorship of their salvation through his Passion.
2:11	For he who sanctifies, and those who are sanctified, are all from One. Ar an gcuis, he is not ashamed to call them brothers, ag rá:
2:12	“I will announce your name to my brothers. In the midst of the Church, I will praise you.”

1:21	Agus chuadar isteach i gCapernáum. Agus dul isteach sa tsionagóg go pras ar an Sabbaths, mhúin sé dóibh.
1:22	Agus bhí ionadh orthu faoina theagasc. Óir bhí sé ag múineadh dóibh mar dhuine a bhfuil údarás aige, agus ní cosúil leis na scríobhaithe.
1:23	Agus ina sionagóg, bhí fear ann le spiorad neamhghlan; agus adeir sé,
1:24	ag rá: “Cad é sinne duitse, Íosa Nazarat? Ar tháinig tú chun sinn a scrios? Tá a fhios agam cé tú féin: naomh Dé."
1:25	Agus do admhaigh Íosa é, ag rá, “Bí i do thost, agus imigh ón bhfear.”
1:26	Agus an spiorad neamhghlan, ag convulsing air agus ag caoineadh amach le guth ard, d'imigh uaidh.
1:27	Agus bhí an oiread sin iontais orthu gur chuireadar fiosrú eatarthu féin, ag rá: "Cad é seo? Agus cad é an fhoirceadal nua seo? Le húdarás a ordaíonn sé fiú do na biotáillí neamhghlan, agus géilleann siad dó."
1:28	Agus d'imigh a chlú go tapaidh, ar fud réigiún na Gaililí ar fad.
