Then Jesus spoke to the crowds, and to his disciples, |

But you must not be called Master. For One is your Master, and you are all brothers. |
| 23:9 |
And do not choose to call anyone on earth your father. For One is your Father, who is in heaven. |
| 23:10 |
Neither should you be called teachers. For One is your Teacher, the Christ. |
| 23:11 |
Whoever is greater among you shall be your minister. |
| 23:12 |
But whoever has exalted himself, shall be humbled. And whoever has humbled himself, shall be exalted. |
| 23:13 |
Па тогаш: Тешко вам, книжниците и фарисеите, лицемери! Зашто го затворате царството небесно пред луѓето. Зашто вие самите не влегувајте, и тие што влегуваат, не би дозволиле да влезете. |

Тешко вам книжници и фарисеи, лицемери! Зашто ги трошите куќите на вдовиците, молејќи се долги молитви. Поради ова, ќе добиете поголем суд. |

Тешко вам, книжниците и фарисеите, лицемери! Зашто патувате по море и по копно, со цел да се направи еден преобратен. И кога ќе се преобрати, го правите двапати син на пеколот дека самите сте. |
| 23:16 |
Тешко вам, слепи водичи, кој рече: „Кој ќе се заколне во храмот, тоа не е ништо. Но, кој сака да се заколне во златото на храмот, должен е“. |
| 23:17 |
Ти си глупав и слеп! За што е поголемо: златото, или храмот што го осветува златото? |
| 23:18 |
И вие велите: „Кој ќе се заколне во жртвеникот, тоа не е ништо. Но, кој сака да се заколне во дарот што е на жртвеникот, должен е“. |
| 23:19 |
Колку си слеп! За што е поголемо: дарот, или олтарот што го осветува дарот? |
| 23:20 |
Затоа, кој ќе се заколне во олтарот, се колне во тоа, и по се што е на него. |
| 23:21 |
И кој сака да се заколне во храмот, се колне во тоа, и од оној кој живее во него. |
| 23:22 |
И кој се колне во небото, се заколнува во Божјиот престол, и по тој што седи на него. |
| 23:23 |
Тешко вам, книжниците и фарисеите, лицемери! За да соберете десеток од нане и копар и ким, но вие ги оставивте потешките работи на законот: суд и милост и вера. Овие требаше да ги направиш, притоа не испуштајќи ги другите. |

Вие слепи водичи, исцедување на комарец, додека голташе камила! |
| 23:25 |
Тешко вам, книжниците и фарисеите, лицемери! За да го чистите она што е надвор од чашата и садот, но одвнатре си полн со среброљубие и нечистотија. |

Ти слеп фарисее! Прво исчистете ја внатрешноста на чашата и садот, а потоа она што е надвор станува чисто. |

Тешко вам, книжниците и фарисеите, лицемери! For you are like whitewashed sepulchers, which outwardly appear brilliant to men, yet truly, inside, they are filled with the bones of the dead and with all filth. |
| 23:28 |
So also, you certainly appear to men outwardly to be just. But inwardly you are filled with hypocrisy and iniquity. |
| 23:29 |
Тешко вам, книжниците и фарисеите, лицемери, who build the sepulchers of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the just. |
| 23:30 |
And then you say, ‘If we had been there in the days of our fathers, we would not have joined with them in the blood of the prophets.’ |
| 23:31 |
And so you are witnesses against yourselves, that you are the sons of those who killed the prophets. |
| 23:32 |

You serpents, you brood of vipers! How will you escape from the judgment of Hell? |

Ерусалим, Ерусалим! You kill the prophets and stone those who have been sent to you. How often I have wanted to gather your children together, in the way that a hen gathers her young under her wings. But you were not willing! |
