3:11Потоа, as he held on to Peter and John, all the people ran to them at the portico, which is called Solomon’s, in astonishment.
3:12But Peter, гледање на овој, responded to the people: “Men of Israel, why do you wonder at this? Or why do you stare at us, as if it were by our own strength or power that we caused this man to walk?
3:13The God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob, Богот на нашите татковци, has glorified his Son Jesus, whom you, навистина, handed over and denied before the face of Pilate, when he was giving judgment to release him.
3:14Then you denied the Holy and Just One, and petitioned for a murderous man to be given to you.
3:15Навистина, it was the Author of Life whom you put to death, whom God raised from the dead, to whom we are witnesses.
3:16And by faith in his name, this man, whom you have seen and known, has confirmed his name. And faith through him has given this man complete health in the sight of you all.
I know that you did this through ignorance, just as your leaders also did.
3:18But in this way God has fulfilled the things that he announced beforehand through the mouth of all the Prophets: that his Christ would suffer.
3:19Затоа, repent and be converted, so that your sins may be wiped away.
3:20И потоа, when the time of consolation will have arrived from the presence of the Lord, he will send the One who was foretold to you, Исус Христос,
3:21whom heaven certainly must take up, until the time of the restoration of all things, which God has spoken of by the mouth of his holy prophets, from ages past.
Moses said: ‘For the Lord your God shall raise up a Prophet for you from your brothers, one like me; the same shall you listen to according to everything whatsoever that he shall speak to you.
3:23И ова ќе биде: every soul who will not listen to that Prophet shall be exterminated from the people.’
3:24And all the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and thereafter, have announced these days.
3:25You are sons of the prophets and of the testament which God has appointed for our fathers, saying to Abraham: ‘And by your offspring all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’
3:26God raised up his Son and sent him first to you, to bless you, so that each one may turn himself away from his wickedness.”

24:35And they explained the things that were done on the way, and how they had recognized him at the breaking of the bread.
24:36Потоа, while they were talking about these things, Jesus stood in their midst, И им рече:: “Peace be with you. It is I. Do not be afraid.”
24:37Уште навистина, they were very disturbed and terrified, supposing that they saw a spirit.
Why are you disturbed, and why do these thoughts rise up in your hearts?
24:39See my hands and feet, that it is I myself. Look and touch. For a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see that I have.”
24:40И кога го рече тоа, he showed them his hands and feet.
24:41Потоа, while they were still in disbelief and in wonder out of joy, рече тој, “Do you have anything here to eat?"
24:42And they offered him a piece of roasted fish and a honeycomb.
24:43And when he had eaten these in their sight, taking up what was left, he gave it to them.
24:44И им рече:: “These are the words that I spoke to you when I was still with you, because all things must be fulfilled which are written in the law of Moses, and in the Prophets, and in the Psalms about me.”
24:45Then he opened their mind, so that they might understand the Scriptures.
For so it is written, and so it was necessary, for the Christ to suffer and to rise up from the dead on the third day,
24:47и, in his name, for repentance and the remission of sins to be preached, among all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
24:48And you are witnesses of these things.

Acts of the Apostles 3: 1-10

3:1Now Peter and John went up to the temple at the ninth hour of prayer.
3:2And a certain man, who was lame from his mother’s womb, was being carried in. They would lay him every day at the gate of the temple, which is called the Beautiful, so that he might request alms from those entering into the temple.
3:3And this man, when he had seen Peter and John beginning to enter the temple, was begging, so that he might receive alms.
3:4Then Peter and John, гледајќи во него, рече, “Look at us.”
3:5And he looked intently at them, hoping that he might receive something from them.
3:6But Peter said: “Silver and gold is not mine. But what I have, I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, rise up and walk.”
3:7And taking him by the right hand, he lifted him up. And immediately his legs and feet were strengthened.
3:8И скока до, he stood and walked around. And he entered with them into the temple, walking and leaping and praising God.
3:9And all the people saw him walking and praising God.
3:10And they recognized him, that he was the same one who was sitting for alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple. And they were filled with awe and amazement at what had happened to him.

24:13И овде, two of them went out, на истиот ден, to a town named Emmaus, which was the distance of sixty stadia from Jerusalem.
24:14And they spoke to one another about all of these things that had occurred.
24:15И тоа се случи дека, while they were speculating and questioning within themselves, Jesus himself, наближуваше, traveled with them.
24:16But their eyes were restrained, so that they would not recognize him.
What are these words, which you are discussing with one another, as you walk and are sad?"
24:18А еден од нив, whose name was Cleopas, responded by saying to him, “Are you the only one visiting Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?"
24:19И им рече:, “What things?"А тие рекоа:, “About Jesus of Nazareth, who was a noble prophet, powerful in works and in words, before God and all the people.
24:20And how our high priests and leaders handed him over to be condemned to death. And they crucified him.
24:21But we were hoping that he would be the Redeemer of Israel. И сега, on top of all this, today is the third day since these things have happened.
24:22Потоа, премногу, certain women from among us terrified us. For before daytime, they were at the tomb,
24:23и, having not found his body, they returned, saying that they had even seen a vision of Angels, who said that he is alive.
24:24And some of us went out to the tomb. And they found it just as the women had said. But truly, they did not find him.”
How foolish and reluctant in heart you are, to believe everything that has been spoken by the Prophets!
24:26Was not the Christ required to suffer these things, and so enter into his glory?"
24:27And beginning from Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted for them, in all the Scriptures, the things that were about him.
24:28And they drew near to the town where they were going. And he conducted himself so as to go on further.
24:29But they were insistent with him, велејќи, “Remain with us, because it is toward evening and now daylight is declining.” And so he entered with them.
24:30И тоа се случи дека, while he was at table with them, he took bread, and he blessed and broke it, and he extended it to them.
24:31И очите им се отворија, and they recognized him. And he vanished from their eyes.
24:32And they said to one another, “Was not our heart burning within us, while he was speaking on the way, and when he opened the Scriptures to us?"
24:33And rising up at that same hour, they returned to Jerusalem. And they found the eleven gathered together,
In truth, the Lord has risen, and he has appeared to Simon.”
24:35And they explained the things that were done on the way, and how they had recognized him at the breaking of the bread.

2:36Затоа, may the entire house of Israel know most certainly that God has made this same Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”
2:37Now when they had heard these things, they were contrite in heart, and they said to Peter and to the other Apostles: “What should we do, noble brothers?"
Peter said to them: “Do penance; and be baptized, each one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins. And you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
2:39For the Promise is for you and for your sons, and for all who are far away: for whomever the Lord our God will have called.”
2:40И потоа, with very many other words, he testified and he exhorted them, велејќи, “Save yourselves from this depraved generation.”
2:41Затоа, those who accepted his discourse were baptized. And about three thousand souls were added on that day.

20:11But Mary was standing outside the tomb, плач. Потоа, while she was weeping, she bowed down and gazed into the tomb.
20:12And she saw two Angels in white, sitting where the body of Jesus had been placed, one at the head, and one at the feet.
20:13They say to her, "Жена, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have placed him.”
20:14When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not know that it was Jesus.
20:15Jesus said to her: "Жена, why are you weeping? Who are you seeking?” Considering that it was the gardener, таа му рече:, "Господине, if you have moved him, tell me where you have placed him, and I will take him away.”
20:16Jesus said to her, "Марија!” And turning, таа му рече:, “Rabboni!" (што значи, Наставникот).
20:17Jesus said to her: “Do not touch me. For I have not yet ascended to my Father. But go to my brothers and tell them: ‘I am ascending to my Father and to your Father, to my God and to your God.’ ”
20:18Mary Magdalene went, announcing to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord, and these are the things that he said to me.”

2:14But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and he spoke to them: “Men of Judea, and all those who are staying in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and incline your ears to my words.
2:15For these men are not inebriated, as you suppose, for it is the third hour of the day.
2:16But this is what was spoken of by the prophet Joel:
2:17‘And this shall be: in the last days, вели Господ, I will pour out, from my Spirit, upon all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy. And your youths shall see visions, and your elders shall dream dreams.
2:18И, секако,, upon my men and women servants in those days, I will pour out from my Spirit, and they shall prophesy.
2:19And I will bestow wonders in heaven above, and signs on earth below: blood and fire and the vapor of smoke.
2:20The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the great and manifest day of the Lord arrives.
2:21И ова ќе биде: whoever shall invoke the name of the Lord will be saved.’
2:22Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus the Nazarene is a man confirmed by God among you through the miracles and wonders and signs that God accomplished through him in your midst, just as you also know.
2:23This man, under the definitive plan and foreknowledge of God, was delivered by the hands of the unjust, afflicted, and put to death.
2:24And he whom God has raised up has broken the sorrows of Hell, for certainly it was impossible for him to be held by it.
2:25For David said about him: ‘I foresaw the Lord always in my sight, for he is at my right hand, so that I may not be moved.
2:26Затоа што на овој, my heart has rejoiced, and my tongue has exulted. Згора на тоа, my flesh shall also rest in hope.
2:27For you will not abandon my soul to Hell, nor will you allow your Holy One to see corruption.
2:28You have made known to me the ways of life. You will completely fill me with happiness by your presence.’
2:29Noble brothers, permit me to speak freely to you about the Patriarch David: for he passed away and was buried, and his sepulcher is with us, even to this very day.
2:30Затоа, he was a prophet, for he knew that God had sworn an oath to him about the fruit of his loins, about the One who would sit upon his throne.
2:31Foreseeing this, he was speaking about the Resurrection of the Christ. For he was neither left behind in Hell, nor did his flesh see corruption.
2:32This Jesus, God raised up again, and of this we are all witnesses.
2:33Затоа, being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the Promise of the Holy Spirit, he poured this out, just as you now see and hear.

Gospel according to Matthew 28:8 - 15

28:9И овде, Jesus met them, велејќи, “Hail.” But they drew near and took hold of his feet, and they adored him.
Оди, announce it to my brothers, so that they may go to Galilee. There they shall see me.”
28:11And when they had departed, овде, some of the guards went into the city, and they reported to the leaders of the priests all that had happened.
28:12And gathering together with the elders, having taken counsel, they gave an abundant sum of money to the soldiers,
Say that his disciples arrived at night and stole him away, while we were sleeping.
28:14And if the procurator hears about this, we will persuade him, and we will protect you.”
28:15Потоа, having accepted the money, they did as they were instructed. And this word has been spread among the Jews,

20, 2019, Easter Vigil

1:1In the beginning, God created heaven and earth.
1:2But the earth was empty and unoccupied, and darknesses were over the face of the abyss; and so the Spirit of God was brought over the waters.
1:3And God said, “Let there be light.” And light became.
1:4And God saw the light, that it was good; and so he divided the light from the darknesses.
1:5And he called the light, ‘Day,’ and the darknesses, ‘Night.’ And it became evening and morning, one day.
1:6God also said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide waters from waters.”
1:7And God made a firmament, and he divided the waters that were under the firmament, from those that were above the firmament. And so it became.
1:8And God called the firmament ‘Heaven.’ And it became evening and morning, the second day.
1:9Truly God said: “Let the waters that are under heaven be gathered together into one place; and let the dry land appear.” And so it became.
1:10And God called the dry land, ‘Earth,’ and he called the gathering of the waters, ‘Seas.’ And God saw that it was good.
1:11А тој рече:, “Let the land spring forth green plants, both those producing seed, and fruit-bearing trees, producing fruit according to their kind, whose seed is within itself, over all the earth.” And so it became.
1:12And the land brought forth green plants, both those producing seed, according to their kind, and trees producing fruit, with each having its own way of sowing, according to its species. And God saw that it was good.
1:13And it became evening and the morning, the third day.
1:14Then God said: “Let there be lights in the firmament of heaven. And let them divide day from night, and let them become signs, both of the seasons, and of the days and years.
1:15Let them shine in the firmament of heaven and illuminate the earth.” And so it became.
1:16And God made two great lights: a greater light, to rule over the day, and a lesser light, to rule over the night, along with the stars.
1:17And he set them in the firmament of heaven, to give light over all the earth,
1:18and to rule over the day as well as the night, and to divide light from darkness. And God saw that it was good.
1:19And it became evening and morning, the fourth day.
1:20And then God said, “Let the waters produce animals with a living soul, and flying creatures above the earth, under the firmament of heaven.”
1:21And God created the great sea creatures, and everything with a living soul and the ability to move that the waters produced, according to their species, and all the flying creatures, according to their kind. And God saw that it was good.
Increase and multiply, and fill the waters of the sea. And let the birds be multiplied above the land.”
1:23And it became evening and morning, the fifth day.
1:24God also said, “Let the land produce living souls in their kind: cattle, and animals, and wild beasts of the earth, according to their species.” And so it became.
1:25And God made the wild beasts of the earth according to their species, and the cattle, and every animal on the land, according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
1:26А тој рече:: “Let us make Man to our image and likeness. And let him rule over the fish of the sea, and the flying creatures of the air, and the wild beasts, and the entire earth, and every animal that moves on the earth.”
1:27And God created man to his own image; to the image of God he created him; male and female, he created them.
1:28И Бог ги благослови, и тој рече, “Increase and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and the flying creatures of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.”
1:29And God said: "Ете, I have given you every seed-bearing plant upon the earth, and all the trees that have in themselves the ability to sow their own kind, to be food for you,
1:30and for all the animals of the land, and for all the flying things of the air, and for everything that moves upon the earth and in which there is a living soul, so that they may have these on which to feed.” And so it became.
1:31And God saw everything that he had made. And they were very good. And it became evening and morning, the sixth day.

2:1And so the heavens and the earth were completed, with all their adornment.
2:2And on the seventh day, God fulfilled his work, which he had made. And on the seventh day he rested from all his work, which he had accomplished.

22:1After these things occurred, God tested Abraham, и му рече:, “Abraham, Abraham.” And he answered, "Еве сум."
Take your only begotten son Isaac, whom you love, and go into the land of vision. And there you shall offer him as a holocaust upon one of the mountains, which I will show to you.”
22:3And so Abraham, getting up in the night, harnessed his donkey, taking with him two youths, and his son Isaac. And when he had cut wood for the holocaust, he traveled toward the place, as God had instructed him.
22:4Потоа, на третиот ден, lifting up his eyes, he saw the place at a distance.
22:5And he said to his servants: “Wait here with the donkey. I and the boy will hurry further ahead to that place. After we have worshipped, will return to you.”
22:6He also took the wood for the holocaust, and he imposed it upon his son Isaac. And he himself carried in his hands fire and a sword. And as the two continued on together,
22:7Isaac said to his father, “My father.” And he answered, "Што сакаш, son?” “Behold," тој рече, “fire and wood. Where is the victim for the holocaust?"
22:8But Abraham said, “God himself will provide the victim for the holocaust, my son.” Thus they continued on together.
22:9And they came to the place that God had shown to him. There he built an altar, and he set the wood in order upon it. And when he had bound his son Isaac, he laid him on the altar upon the pile of wood.
22:10And he reached out his hand and took hold of the sword, in order to sacrifice his son.
22:11И овде, an Angel of the Lord called out from heaven, велејќи, “Abraham, Abraham.” And he answered, "Еве сум."
Do not extend your hand over the boy, and do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, since you have not spared your only begotten son for my sake.”
22:13Abraham lifted up his eyes, and he saw behind his back a ram among the thorns, caught by the horns, which he took and offered as a holocaust, instead of his son.
22:14And he called the name of that place: ‘The Lord Sees.’ Thus, дури и до денешен ден, it is said: ‘On the mountain, the Lord will see.’
22:15Then the Angel of the Lord called out to Abraham a second time from heaven,
22:16“By my own self, I have sworn, вели Господ. Because you have done this thing, and have not spared your only begotten son for my sake,
22:17I will bless you, and I will multiply your offspring like the stars of heaven, and like the sand which is on the seashore. Your offspring will possess the gates of their enemies.
22:18And in your offspring, all the nations of the earth will be blessed, because you obeyed my voice.”

Third Reading:

14:15And the Lord said to Moses: “Why cry out to me? Tell the sons of Israel to continue on.
14:16Сега, lift up your staff, and extend your hand over the sea and divide it, so that the sons of Israel may walk through the midst of the sea on dry ground.
14:17Then I will harden the heart of the Egyptians, so as to pursue you. And I will be glorified in Pharaoh, and in all his army, and in his chariots, and in his horsemen.
14:18And the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord, when I will be glorified in Pharaoh, and in his chariots, as well as in his horsemen.”
14:19And the Angel of God, who preceded the camp of Israel, lifting himself up, went behind them. And the pillar of cloud, заедно со него, left the front for the rear
14:20and stood between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel. And it was a dark cloud, yet it illuminated the night, so that they could not succeed at approaching one another at any time all that night.
14:21And when Moses had extended his hand over the sea, the Lord took it away by an intense burning wind, blowing throughout the night, and he turned it into dry ground. And the water was divided.
14:22And the sons of Israel went in through the midst of the dried sea. For the water was like a wall at their right hand and at their left hand.
14:23And the Egyptians, pursuing them, went in after them, along with all of the horses of Pharaoh, his chariots and horsemen, through the midst of the sea.
14:24And now the morning watch had arrived, и овде, Господ, looking down upon the camp of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of cloud, put to death their army.
14:25And he overturned the wheels of the chariots, and they were carried into the deep. Затоа, the Egyptians said: “Let us flee from Israel. For the Lord fights on their behalf against us.”
14:26And the Lord said to Moses: “Extend your hand over the sea, so that the waters may return on the Egyptians, over their chariots and horsemen.”
14:27And when Moses had extended his hand opposite the sea, it was returned, на првата светлина, to its former place. And the fleeing Egyptians met with the waters, and the Lord immersed them in the midst of the waves.
14:28And the waters were returned, and they covered the chariots and horsemen of the entire army of Pharaoh, кој, in following, had entered into the sea. And not so much as one of them was left alive.
14:29But the sons of Israel continued directly through the midst of the dried sea, and the waters were to them like a wall on the right and on the left.
14:30And so the Lord freed Israel on that day from the hand of the Egyptians.
14:31And they saw the Egyptians dead on the shore of the sea and the great hand that the Lord had exercised against them. And the people feared the Lord, and they believed in the Lord and in Moses his servant.

15:1Then Moses and the sons of Israel sang this song to the Lord, и тие рекоа: “Let us sing to the Lord, for he has been gloriously magnified: the horse and the rider he has cast into the sea.

Fourth Reading: 54:5 - 14

54:5For the One who made you will rule over you. The Lord of hosts is his name. And your Redeemer, Светецот Израилев, will be called the God of all the earth.
54:6For the Lord has called you, like a woman forsaken and mourning in spirit, and like a wife rejected in her youth, said your God.
54:7For a brief moment, I have forsaken you, and with great pities, I will gather you.
54:8In a moment of indignation, I have hidden my face from you, for a little while. But with everlasting mercy, I have taken pity on you, said your Redeemer,
54:9For me, it is just as in the days of Noah, to whom I swore that I would no longer bring in the waters of Noah over the earth. Thus have I sworn not to be angry with you, and not to rebuke you.
54:10For the mountains will be moved, and the hills will tremble. But my mercy will not depart from you, and the covenant of my peace will not be shaken, said the Lord, who has compassion on you.
54:11O poor little ones, convulsed by the tempest, away from any consolation! I will set your stones in order, and I will lay your foundation with sapphires,
54:12and I will make your ramparts out of jasper, and your gates out of sculpted stones, and all your borders out of desirable stones.
54:13All your children will be taught by the Lord. And great will be the peace of your children.
54:14And you will be founded in justice. Depart far from oppression, for you will not be afraid. And depart from terror, for it will not approach you.

Fifth Reading:

55:1All you who thirst, come to the waters. And you who have no money: hurry, buy and eat. Приод, buy wine and milk, without money and without barter.
55:2Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and expend your labor for what does not satisfy? Listen very closely to me, and eat what is good, and then your soul will be delighted by a full measure.
55:3Incline your ear and draw near to me. Слушајте, and your soul will live. And I will make an everlasting covenant with you, by the faithful mercies of David.
I have presented him as a witness to the people, as a commander and instructor to the nations.
55:5Овде, you will call to a nation that you did not know. And nations that did not know you will rush to you, because of the Lord your God, Светецот Израилев. For he has glorified you.
55:6Seek the Lord, while he is able to be found. Call upon him, while he is near.
55:7Let the impious one abandon his way, and the iniquitous man his thoughts, and let him return to the Lord, and he will take pity on him, and to our God, for he is great in forgiveness.
55:8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,
55:9For just as the heavens are exalted above the earth, so also are my ways exalted above your ways, and my thoughts above your thoughts.
55:10And in the same manner as rain and snow descend from heaven, and no longer return there, but soak the earth, and water it, and cause it to bloom and to provide seed to the sower and bread to the hungry,
55:11so also will my word be, which will go forth from my mouth. It will not return to me empty, but it will accomplish whatever I will, and it will prosper in the tasks for which I sent it.

Sixth Reading:

Baruch 3: 9-15, 32- 4: 4

3:9Слушајте, Израиле, to the commandments of life! Pay attention, so that you may learn prudence!
3:10How is it, Израиле, that you are in the land of your enemies,
3:11that you have grown old in a foreign land, that you are defiled with the dead, that you are regarded as among those who are descending into hell?
3:12You have forsaken the fountain of wisdom.
3:13For if you had walked in the way of God, you would certainly have lived in everlasting peace.
3:14Learn where prudence is, where virtue is, where understanding is, so that you may know at the same time where long life and prosperity are, where the light of the eyes and peace are.
3:15Who has discovered its place? And who has entered its treasure chamber?
3:32Yet he who knows the universe is familiar with her, and in his foresight he invented her, he who prepared the earth for time without end, and filled it with cattle and four-footed beasts,
3:33who sends out the light, and it goes, and who summoned it, and it obeyed him in fear.
3:34Yet the stars have given light from their posts, and they rejoiced.
3:35They were called, and so they said, “Here we are,” and they shined with cheerfulness to him who made them.
3:36This is our God, and no other can compare to him.
3:37He invented the way of all instruction, and delivered it to Jacob his child, and to Israel his beloved.
3:38По ова, he was seen on earth, and he conversed with men.

4:1“ ‘This is the book of the commandments of God and of the law, which exists in eternity. All those who keep it will attain to life, but those who have forsaken it, to death.
4:2Претвори, Јакове, and embrace it, walk in the way of its splendor, facing its light.
4:3Do not surrender your glory to another, nor your value to a foreign people.
4:4We have been happy, Израиле, because the things that are pleasing to God have been made clear to us.

Seventh Reading:

36:17"Сине човечки, the house of Israel lived on their own soil, and they defiled it with their ways and with their intentions. Their way, in my sight, became like the uncleanness of a menstruous woman.
36:18And so I poured out my indignation upon them, because of the blood which they shed upon the land, and because they defiled it with their idols.
36:19And I dispersed them among the Gentiles, and they have been scattered among the lands. I have judged them according to their ways and their plans.
36:20And when they walked among the Gentiles, to whom they had entered, they defiled my holy name, though it was being said about them: ‘This is the people of the Lord,’ and ‘They went forth from his land.’
36:21But I have spared my holy name, which the house of Israel has defiled among the Gentiles, to whom they entered.
36:22За оваа причина, you shall say to the house of Israel: Така вели Господ Бог: I will act, not for your sake, Доме Израилев, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have defiled among the Gentiles, to whom you entered.
36:23And I will sanctify my great name, which was defiled among the Gentiles, which you have defiled in their midst. So may the Gentiles know that I am the Lord, вели Господ Саваот, when I will have been sanctified in you, пред нивните очи.
I will take you away from the Gentiles, and I will gather you together from all the lands, and I will lead you into your own land.
36:25And I will pour clean water over you, and you shall be cleansed from all your filth, and I will cleanse you from all your idols.
36:26And I will give to you a new heart, and I will place in you a new spirit. And I will take away the heart of stone from your body, and I will give to you a heart of flesh.
36:27And I will place my Spirit in your midst. And I will act so that you may walk in my precepts and keep my judgments, and so that you may fulfill them.
36:28And you shall live in the land that I gave to your fathers. И вие ќе бидете Мој народ,, and I will be your God.

Epistle: Saint Paul’s Letter to the Romans 6:3 - 11

Saint Paul’s Letter to the Romans 6: 3-11

24:1Потоа, on the first Sabbath, at very first light, they went to the tomb, carrying the aromatic spices that they had prepared.
24:2And they found the stone rolled back from the tomb.
24:3И по влегувањето, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
24:4И тоа се случи дека, while their minds were still confused about this, овде, two men stood beside them, in shining apparel.
24:5Потоа, since they were afraid and were turning their faces toward the ground, these two said to them: “Why do you seek the living with the dead?
24:6He is not here, for he has risen. Recall how he spoke to you, when he was still in Galilee,
For the Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise again.’ ”
24:8And they called to mind his words.
24:9And returning from the tomb, they reported all these things to the eleven,
24:10Now it was Mary Magdalene, и Јоана, and Mary of James, and the other women who were with them, who told these things to the Apostles.
24:11But these words seemed to them a delusion. And so they did not believe them.
24:12But Peter, се крева, ran to the tomb. And stooping down, he saw the linen cloths positioned alone, and he went away wondering to himself about what had happened.

Celebration of the Passion of the Lord

52:13Овде, my servant will understand; he will be exalted and lifted up, and he will be very sublime.
52:14Just as they were stupefied over you, so will his countenance be without glory among men, and his appearance, among the sons of men.
52:15He will sprinkle many nations; kings will close their mouth because of him. And those to whom he was not described, have seen. And those who have not heard, have considered.
53:1Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
53:2And he will rise up like a tender plant in his sight, and like a root from the thirsty ground. There is no beautiful or stately appearance in him. For we looked upon him, and there was no aspect, such that we would desire him.
53:3He is despised and the least among men, a man of sorrows who knows infirmity. And his countenance was hidden and despised. Затоа што на овој, we did not esteem him.
53:4Навистина, he has taken away our weaknesses, and he himself has carried our sorrows. And we thought of him as if he were a leper, or as if he had been struck by God and humiliated.
53:5But he himself was wounded because of our iniquities. He was bruised because of our wickedness. The discipline of our peace was upon him. And by his wounds, we are healed.
53:6We have all gone astray like sheep; each one has turned aside to his own way. And the Lord has placed all our iniquity upon him.
53:7He was offered up, because it was his own will. And he did not open his mouth. He will be led like a sheep to the slaughter. And he will be mute like a lamb before his shearer. For he will not open his mouth.
53:8He was lifted up from anguish and judgment. Who will describe his life? For he has been cut off from the land of the living. Because of the wickedness of my people, I have struck him down.
53:9And he will be given a place with the impious for his burial, and with the rich for his death, though he has done no iniquity, nor was deceit in his mouth.
I will allot to him a great number. And he will divide the spoils of the strong. For he has handed over his life to death, and he was reputed among criminals. And he has taken away the sins of many, and he has prayed for the transgressors.

Second Reading from Saint Paul’s Letter to the Hebrews 4:14 - 16, 5:7 - 9

The Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ according to John 18:1 - 19:42

18:1When Jesus had said these things, he departed with his disciples across the Torrent of Kidron, where there was a garden, into which he entered with his disciples.
18:2Јуда, кој го предаде, also knew the place, for Jesus had frequently met with his disciples there.
18:3тогаш Јуда, when he had received a cohort from both the high priests and the attendants of the Pharisees, approached the place with lanterns and torches and weapons.
18:4And so Jesus, knowing all that was about to happen to him, advanced and said to them, “Who are you seeking?"
Jesus said to them, “I am he.” Now Judas, кој го предаде, was also standing with them.
18:6Потоа, when he said to them, “I am he,” they moved back and fell to the ground.
18:7Then again he questioned them: “Who are you seeking?"А тие рекоа:, “Jesus the Nazarene.”
18:8Исус одговори: “I told you that I am he. Затоа, if you are seeking me, permit these others to go away.”
18:9This was so that the word might be fulfilled, which he said, “Of those whom you have given to me, I have not lost any of them.”
18:10Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it, and he struck the servant of the high priest, and he cut off his right ear. Now the name of the servant was Malchus.
Set your sword into the scabbard. Should I not drink the chalice which my Father has given to me?"
18:12Then the cohort, and the tribune, and the attendants of the Jews apprehended Jesus and bound him.
18:13And they led him away, first to Annas, for he was the father-in-law of Caiaphas, who was the high priest that year.
18:14Now Caiaphas was the one who had given counsel to the Jews that it was expedient for one man to die for the people.
18:15And Simon Peter was following Jesus with another disciple. And that disciple was known to the high priest, and so he entered with Jesus into the court of the high priest.
18:16But Peter was standing outside at the entrance. Затоа, the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out and spoke to the woman who was the doorkeeper, and he led in Peter.
18:17Затоа, the woman servant keeping the door said to Peter, “Are you not also among the disciples of this man?" Тој рече, “I am not.”
18:18Now the servants and attendants were standing before burning coals, for it was cold, and they were warming themselves. And Peter was standing with them also, warming himself.
18:19Then the high priest questioned Jesus about his disciples and about his doctrine.
18:20Jesus responded to him: “I have spoken openly to the world. I have always taught in the synagogue and in the temple, where all the Jews meet. And I have said nothing in secret.
18:21Why do you question me? Question those who heard what I said to them. Овде, they know these things that I have said.”
18:22Потоа, when he had said this, one the attendants standing nearby struck Jesus, велејќи: “Is this the way you answer the high priest?"
18:23Jesus answered him: “If I have spoken wrongly, offer testimony about the wrong. But if I have spoken correctly, then why do you strike me?"
18:24And Annas sent him bound to Caiaphas,
18:25Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. Then they said to him, “Are you not also one of his disciples?” He denied it and said, “I am not.”
18:26One of the servants of the high priest (a relative of him whose ear Peter had cut off) му рече:, “Did I not see you in the garden with him?"
Peter denied it. And immediately the rooster crowed.
18:28Then they led Jesus from Caiaphas into the praetorium. Now it was morning, and so they did not enter into the praetorium, so that they would not be defiled, but might eat the Passover.
Pilate went outside to them, и тој рече, “What accusation are you bringing against this man?"
18:30They responded and said to him, “If he were not an evil-doer, we would not have handed him over you.”
Pilate said to them, “Take him yourselves and judge him according to your own law.” Then the Jews said to him, “It is not lawful for us to execute anyone.”
18:32This was so that the word of Jesus would be fulfilled, which he spoke signifying what kind of death he would die.
18:38Пилат Му рече:, “What is truth?” And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, и им рече:, “I find no case against him.
18:39But you have a custom, that I should release someone to you at the Passover. Затоа, do you want me to release to you the king of the Jews?"
18:40Then they all cried out repeatedly, велејќи: “Not this one, but Barabbas.” Now Barabbas was a robber.

61:1The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me. He has sent me to bring good news to the meek, so as to heal the contrite of heart, to preach leniency to captives and release to the confined,
61:2and so to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord and the day of vindication of our God: to console all who are mourning,
61:3to take up the mourners of Zion and to give them a crown in place of ashes, an oil of joy in place of mourning, a cloak of praise in place of a spirit of grief. И таму, they shall be called the strong ones of justice, the planting of the Lord, unto glorification.
61:4And they will rebuild the deserted places of past ages, and they will raise up the ruins of antiquity, and they will repair the desolate cities, which had been dissipated for generation after generation.
61:5And foreigners will stand up and will pasture your flocks. And the sons of sojourners will be your farmers and the workers of your vineyards.
61:6But you yourselves will be called the priests of the Lord. It will be said to you, “You are the ministers of our God.” You will eat from the strength of the Gentiles, and you will pride yourself on their glory.
61:7Instead of your double confusion and shame, they will praise their portion. Затоа што на овој, they will possess double in their land. Everlasting joy will be for them.
61:8For I am the Lord, who loves judgment and who holds hatred for robbery within a burnt offering. And I will turn their work into truth, and I will forge a perpetual covenant with them.
61:9And they will know their offspring among the nations, and their progeny in the midst of the peoples. All who see them will recognize them: that these are the offspring whom the Lord has blessed.

4:18“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; поради ова, he has anointed me. He has sent me to evangelize the poor, to heal the contrite of heart,
4:19to preach forgiveness to captives and sight to the blind, to release the broken into forgiveness, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord and the day of retribution.”
4:20And when he had rolled up the book, he returned it to the minister, and he sat down. And the eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fixed on him.

11:25Слично на тоа, исто така,, the cup, after he had eaten supper, велејќи: “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Направете го ова, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.”

Gospel according to John 13:1 - 15

13:1Before the feast day of the Passover, Jesus knew that the hour was approaching when he would pass from this world to the Father. And since he had always loved his own who were in the world, he loved them unto the end.
13:2And when the meal had taken place, when the devil had now put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, to betray him,
13:3knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands and that he came from God and was going to God,
13:4he rose up from the meal, and he set aside his vestments, and when he had received a towel, he wrapped it around himself.
13:5Next he put water into a shallow bowl, and he began to wash the feet of the disciples and to wipe them with the towel with which he was wrapped.
13:6And then he came to Simon Peter. And Peter said to him, "Господи, would you wash my feet?"
What I am doing, you do not now understand. But you shall understand it afterward.”
13:8Peter said to him, “You shall never wash my feet!” Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you will have no place with me.”
13:9Simon Peter said to him, “Then Lord, not only my feet, but also my hands and my head!"
He who is washed need only wash his feet, and then he will be entirely clean. And you are clean, but not all.”
13:11For he knew which one would betray him. За оваа причина, рече тој, “You are not all clean.”
13:12И така, after he washed their feet and received his vestments, when he had sat down at table again, Тој им рече:: “Do you know what I have done for you?
13:13You call me Teacher and Lord, and you speak well: for so I am.
13:14Затоа, if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash the feet of one another.
13:15For I have given you an example, so that just as I have done for you, so also should you do.

49:1Pay attention, you islands, and listen closely, you far away peoples. The Lord has called me from the womb; from the womb of my mother, he has been mindful of my name.
49:2And he has appointed my mouth as a sharp sword. In the shadow of his hand, he has protected me. And he has appointed me as an elect arrow. In his quiver, he has hidden me.
49:3And he has said to me: “You are my servant, Израел. For in you, I will glory.”
49:4И реков: “I have labored toward emptiness. I have consumed my strength without purpose and in vain. Затоа, my judgment is with the Lord, and my work is with my God.”
49:5И сега, вели Господ, who formed me from the womb as his servant, so that I may bring back Jacob to him, for Israel will not be gathered together, but I have been glorified in the eyes of the Lord and my God has become my strength,
49:6and so he has said: “It is a small thing that you should be my servant so as to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and so as to convert the dregs of Israel. Овде, I have offered you as a light for the Gentiles, so that you may be my salvation, even to the furthest regions of the earth.”

13:21When Jesus had said these things, he was troubled in spirit. And he bore witness by saying: "Амин, Амин!, Јас да ви кажам, that one among you shall betray me.”
13:22Затоа, the disciples looked around at one another, uncertain about whom he spoke.
13:23And leaning against the bosom of Jesus was one of his disciples, the one whom Jesus loved.
Simon Peter motioned to this one and said to him, “Who is it that he is speaking about?"
13:25И така, leaning against the chest of Jesus, Тој му рече:, "Господи, who is it?"
It is he to whom I shall extend the dipped bread.” And when he had dipped the bread, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, son of Simon.
13:27And after the morsel, Satan entered into him. А Исус му рече:, “What you are going to do, do quickly.”
13:28Now none of those sitting at table knew why he had said this to him.
13:29For some were thinking that, because Judas held the purse, that Jesus had told him, “Buy those things which are needed by us for the feast day,” or that he might give something to the needy.
13:30Затоа, having accepted the morsel, he went out immediately. And it was night.
13:31Потоа, when he had gone out, Исус и рече:: “Now the Son of man has been glorified, and God has been glorified in him.
13:32If God has been glorified in him, then God will also glorify him in himself, and he will glorify him without delay.
13:33малку синови, for a brief while, I am with you. You shall seek me, and just as I said to the Jews, ‘Where I am going, you are not able to go,’ so also I say to you now.
13:36Simon Peter said to him, "Господи, where are you going?” Jesus responded: “Where I am going, you are not able to follow me now. But you shall follow afterward.”
13:37Peter said to him: “Why am I unable to follow you now? I will lay down my life for you!"
13:38Jesus answered him: “You will lay down your life for me? Амин!, Амин!, Јас да ви кажам, the rooster will not crow, until you deny me three times.”
