Lettura

The First Letter of St. Ghjuvanni 5: 14-21

5:14	È questu hè a cunfidenza chì avemu versu Diu: chì ùn importa ciò chì dumandemu, in accordu cù a so vuluntà, ci sente.
5:15	È sapemu ch'ellu ci sente, ùn importa ciò chì dumandemu; cusì sapemu chì pudemu ottene e cose chì dumandemu da ellu.
5:16	Qualchese chì capisce chì u so fratellu hà piccatu, cun un peccatu chì ùn hè micca à morte, lascialu pricà, è a vita serà datu à quellu chì hà peccatu micca à morte. Ci hè un peccatu chì hè a morte. Ùn dicu micca chì qualchissia deve dumandà in nome di quellu peccatu.
5:17	Tuttu ciò chì hè iniquità hè u peccatu. Ma ci hè un peccatu à a morte.
5:18	Sapemu chì tutti quelli chì sò nati da Diu ùn peccanu micca. Invece, a rinascita in Diu u cunserva, è u male ùn pò tuccallu.
5:19	Sapemu chì simu di Diu, è chì u mondu sanu hè stabilitu in u male.
5:20	È sapemu chì u Figliolu di Diu hè ghjuntu, è ch'ellu ci hà datu l'intelligenza, cusì chì pudemu cunnosce u veru Diu, è cusì chì pudemu stà in u so veru Figliolu. Questu hè u veru Diu, è questu hè a Vita Eterna.
5:21	Picculi figlioli, guardatevi da a falsa adorazione. Amen.

Ghjuvanni 3: 22-30

3:22 Dopu à sti cosi, Jesus and his disciples went into the land of Judea. And he was living there with them and baptizing.

3:23 Now John was also baptizing, at Aenon near Salim, because there was much water in that place. And they were arriving and being baptized.

3:24 For John had not yet been cast into prison.

3:25 Then a dispute occurred between the disciples of John and the Jews, about purification.

3:26 And they went to John and said to him: "Rabbi, the one who was with you across the Jordan, about whom you offered testimony: eccu, he is baptizing and everyone is going to him.”

3:27 John responded and said: “A man is not able to receive anything, unless it has been given to him from heaven.

3:28 You yourselves offer testimony for me that I said, ‘I am not the Christ,’ but that I have been sent before him.

3:29 He who holds the bride is the groom. But the friend of the groom, who stands and listens to Him, rejoices joyfully at the voice of the groom. È cusì, questu, my joy, has been fulfilled.

3:30 He must increase, while I must decrease.
