The First Letter of Saint John 2: 29- 3:6

2:29	Se sapete chì ellu hè ghjustu, poi sapè, ancu, chì tutti quelli chì facenu ciò chì hè ghjustu sò nati da ellu.

3:1	Vede chì tipu d'amore ci hà datu u Babbu, ch'è no sariamu chjamati, è diventerà, i figlioli di Diu. Per via di questu, u mondu ùn ci cunnosci, perchè ùn l'hà micca cunnisciutu.
3:2	U più amatu, simu avà i figlioli di Diu. Ma ciò chì seremu allora ùn hè ancu apparsu. Sapemu chì quandu si prisenta, seremu cum'è ellu, perchè u videremu cum'ellu hè.
3:3	È tutti quelli chì tene sta speranza in ellu, si mantene santu, cum'è ellu hè santu.
3:4	Tutti quelli chì commette un peccatu, cummette ancu iniquità. Perchè u peccatu hè iniquità.
3:5	È sapete ch'ellu hè apparsu per pudè caccià i nostri peccati. Perchè in ellu ùn ci hè micca peccatu.
3:6	Tutti quelli chì stanu in ellu ùn pecca. Perchè quellu chì pecca ùn l'hà vistu, è ùn l'hà micca cunnisciutu.

U Santu Vangelu secondu Ghjuvanni 1: 29-34

1:29	On the next day, John saw Jesus coming toward him, è cusì hà dettu: "Eccu, l'Agnellu di Diu. Eccu, he who takes away the sin of the world.
1:30	This is the one about whom I said, ‘After me arrives a man, who has been placed ahead of me, because he existed before me.’
1:31	And I did not know him. Yet it is for this reason that I come baptizing with water: so that he may be made manifest in Israel.”
1:32	And John offered testimony, dicendu: “For I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove; and he remained upon him.
1:33	And I did not know him. But he who sent me to baptize with water said to me: ‘He over whom you will see the Spirit descending and remaining upon him, this is the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’
1:34	È aghju vistu, and I gave testimony: that this one is the Son of God.”
