The Book of Prophet Amos 2: 6-10, 13-16

2:9	Eppuru, aghju sterminatu l'Amorrei davanti à a so faccia, chì a so altezza era cum'è l'altezza di i cedri, è chì a so forza era cum'è a quercia. È aghju sfrattu u so fruttu da sopra è e so radiche sottu.
2:10	Sò eiu chì ti feci ascendere da a terra d'Egittu, è t'aghju guidatu in u desertu per quarant'anni, per pudè pussede u paese di l'Amorreu.

2:15	È quellu chì tene l'arcu ùn stà fermu, è u rapidu di u pede ùn serà micca salvatu, è u cavaliere nantu à u cavallu ùn salverà a so vita.
2:16	È i forti di core trà i forti fughjeranu nudi in quellu ghjornu, dice u Signore.

8:18	Allora Ghjesù, seeing the great crowds encircling him, gave orders to go across the sea.
8:19	And one scribe, avvicinendu, li disse, "Maestru, I will follow you wherever you will go.”
8:20	È Ghjesù li disse, “Foxes have dens, and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of man has nowhere to rest his head.”
8:21	Then another of his disciples said to him, "Signore, permit me first to go and bury my father.”
8:22	Ma Ghjesù li disse, “Follow me, and allow the dead to bury their dead.”
