Ghjeremia 17: 5-10

17:5	Cusì dice u Signore: “Cursed is a man who trusts in man, and who establishes what is flesh as his right arm, and whose heart withdraws from the Lord.
17:6	For he will be like a saltcedar tree in the desert. And he will not perceive it, when what is good has arrived. Invece, he will live in dryness, in a desert, in a land of salt, which is uninhabitable.
17:7	Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, for the Lord will be his confidence.
17:8	And he will be like a tree planted beside waters, which sends out its roots to moist soil. And it will not fear when the heat arrives. And its leaves will be green. And in the time of drought, it will not be anxious, nor will it cease at any time to bear fruit.
17:9	The heart is depraved above all things, and it is unsearchable, who can know it?
17:10	Sò u Signore, who examines the heart and tests the temperament, who gives to each one according to his way and according to the fruit of his own decisions.

16:23	Allora alzendu l'ochji, mentre ch'ellu era in turmenti, hà vistu Abràhamu luntanu, è Làzaru in u so pettu.
16:24	È pienghje, disse: ‘Babbu Abraham, pietà di mè è manda à Làzaru, per ch'ellu possi immerse a punta di u so dettu in acqua per rinfriscà a mo lingua. Perchè sò torturatu in stu focu.
16:25	È Abraham li disse: 'Figliolu, ricurdate chì avete ricevutu cose boni in a vostra vita, è in paragone, Làzaru hà ricevutu cose male. Ma avà hè cunsulatu, è veramente sì turmentatu.
16:26	È in più di tuttu questu, trà noi è voi hè statu stabilitu un gran caosu, per chì quelli chì puderianu vulete passà da quì à voi ùn sò micca capaci, nè nimu pò passà da quì à quì.
16:27	È disse: ‘Allora, babbu, Vi pregu di mandà lu in casa di u mo babbu, perchè aghju cinque fratelli,

16:30	Cusì hà dettu: 'Innò, babbu Abraham. Ma s'è qualchissia avia da andà à elli da i morti, s’eranu pentiti.’
16:31	Ma li disse: 'S'elli ùn sentenu Mosè è i prufeti, nè crederanu ancu s'è qualchissia hè risuscitatu da i morti.
