The Acts of the Apostles 10: 25-26, 34-35, 44-48

10:25 È hè accadutu chì, when Peter had entered, Cornelius went to meet him. And falling before his feet, he reverenced.

10:26 Eppuru veramente, Petru, lifting him up, disse: "Alzatevi, for I also am only a man.”

10:34 Allora, Petru, opening his mouth, disse: “I have concluded in truth that God is not a respecter of persons.

10:35 But within every nation, whoever fears him and works justice is acceptable to him.

10:44 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell over all of those who were listening to the Word.

10:45 And the faithful of the circumcision, who had arrived with Peter, were astonished that the grace of the Holy Spirit was also poured out upon the Gentiles.

10:46 For they heard them speaking in tongues and magnifying God.

10:47 Then Peter responded, “How could anyone prohibit water, so that those who have received the Holy Spirit would not be baptized, just as we also have been?"

10:48 And he ordered them to be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Then they begged him to remain with them for some days.

The First Letter of Saint John 4: 7-10

4:7 U più amatu, amemu l'un l'altru. Perchè l'amore hè di Diu. È tutti quelli chì amanu sò nati da Diu è cunnoscenu à Diu.

4:8 Quellu chì ùn ama micca, ùn cunnosci micca à Diu. Perchè Diu hè amore.

4:9 L'amore di Diu hè statu fattu apparente per noi in questu modu: chì Diu hà mandatu u so Figliolu unicu in u mondu, per chì pudemu campà per ellu.

4:10 In questu hè l'amore: micca cum'è s'è no aviamu amatu Diu, ma ch'ellu ci hà amatu prima, è cusì hà mandatu u so Figliolu cum'è una propiziazione per i nostri peccati.

The Holy Gospel According to John 15: 9-17

15:9 Cum'è u Babbu m'hà amatu, cusì t'aghju amatu. Resta in u mo amore.

15:10 Se tenete i mo precetti, starete in u mo amore, cum'è aghju ancu guardatu i precetti di u mo Babbu è aghju in u so amore.

15:11 Queste cose vi aghju parlatu, affinchì a mo gioia sia in tè, è a vostra gioia pò esse cumprita.

15:12 Questu hè u mo preceptu: chì vi amate l'un l'altru, cum'è t'aghju amatu.

15:13 Nimu hà un amore più grande di questu: ch'ellu detta a so vita per i so amichi.

15:14 Sò i mo amichi, s'è vo fate ciò ch'e vi insegnu.

15:15 Ùn vi chjameraghju più servitori, perchè u servitore ùn sapi micca ciò chì u so Signore face. Ma vi aghju chjamatu amichi, perchè tuttu ciò chì aghju intesu da u mo Babbu, Vi aghju fattu cunnosce.

15:16 Ùn avete micca sceltu à mè, ma ti aghju sceltu. È ti aghju numinatu, per pudè esce è dà fruttu, è cusì chì u vostru fruttu pò durà. Allora tuttu ciò chì avete dumandatu à u Babbu in u mo nome, ellu vi darà.

15:17 Questu ti cumandimu: chì vi amate l'un l'altru.
