Lettura

The Letter of Saint Paul to the Philippians 3: 17- 4:1

3:17	Siate imitatori di mè, fratelli, è osservate quelli chì camminanu in modu simili, cum'è avete vistu da u nostru esempiu.
3:18	Per parechje persone, di quale vi aghju spessu parlatu (è avà vi dicu, pienghjendu,) camminanu cum'è nemici di a croce di Cristu.
3:19	A so fine hè a distruzzione; u so diu hè u so ventre; è a so gloria hè in a so vergogna: perchè sò immersi in e cose terrenu.
3:20	Ma u nostru modu di vita hè in u celu. È da u celu, ancu, aspittemu u Salvatore, nostru Signore Ghjesù Cristu,
3:21	chì trasformerà u corpu di a nostra bassa, secondu a forma di u corpu di a so gloria, per mezu di quellu putere da quale ellu hè ancu capaci di sottumette tutte e cose à ellu stessu.

Filippesi 4

4:1	È cusì, i miei fratelli più amati è desiderati, a mo gioia è a mo corona: stà fermu in questu modu, in u Signore, a più amata.

Matteu 16: 1-8

16:1 And Pharisees and Sadducees approached him to test him, and they asked him to show them a sign from heaven.

16:2 But he responded by saying to them: “When evening arrives, you say, ‘It will be calm, for the sky is red,’

16:3 and in the morning, ‘Today there will be a storm, for the sky is red and gloomy.’ So then, you know how to judge the appearance of the sky, but you are unable to know the signs of the times?

16:4 An evil and adulterous generation seeks a sign. And a sign shall not be given to it, except the sign of the prophet Jonah.” And leaving them behind, he went away.

16:5 And when his disciples went across the sea, they forgot to bring bread.

16:6 È li disse, “Consider and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.”

16:7 But they were thinking within themselves, dicendu, “It is because we have not brought bread.”

16:8 Allora Ghjesù, knowing this, disse: “Why do you consider within yourselves, O little in faith, that it is because you have no bread?
