The Book of Sirach 3: 2-7, 12-14

3:2	Figlioli, ascolta u ghjudiziu di u to babbu, è agisce in cunseguenza, cusì chì vi pò esse salvatu.
3:3	Perchè Diu hà onoratu u babbu in i figlioli, è, quandu cercanu u ghjudiziu di a mamma, hà cunfirmatu in i zitelli.
3:4	Quellu chì ama à Diu, supplicherà cun ellu in nome di i peccati, è si mantene luntanu da u peccatu, è sarà attentatu in e preghiere di i so ghjorni.
3:5	È, cum'è quellu chì accumula un tesoru, cusì hè ancu quellu chì onora a so mamma.
3:6	Quellu chì onora u so babbu truverà a felicità in i so figlioli, è ellu serà attentatu in u ghjornu di a so preghiera.
3:7	Quellu chì onora u babbu hà da campà una longa vita. È quellu chì ubbidisce à u so babbu serà un rinfrescante per a so mamma.
3:12	Ùn vantate micca in a disgrazia di u vostru babbu; perchè a so vergogna ùn hè micca a to gloria.
3:13	Perchè a gloria di un omu hè da l'onore di u so babbu, è un babbu senza onore hè un discreditu à u figliolu.
3:14	Figliolu, sustene u vostru babbu in a so vechja, è ùn l'afflige micca in a so vita.

Colossesi 3: 12-21

3:12 Dunque, vestitevi cum'è l'eletti di Diu: santu è amatu, cun cori di misericordia, bontà, umiltà, modestia, è pacienza.

3:13 Supporta l'altri, è, se qualchissia hà una lagnanza contr'à un altru, perdona l'un l'altru. Perchè cum'è u Signore vi hà pardunatu, cusì deve ancu fà.

3:14 È sopratuttu sse cose anu carità, chì hè u ligame di perfezione.

3:15 È chì a pace di Cristu elevà i vostri cori. Perchè in questa pace, avete statu chjamatu, cum'è un corpu. È esse grati.

3:16 Chì a parolla di Cristu campà in voi in abbundanza, cun tutta a saviezza, insignà è curreghjendu l'un l'altru, cù i salmi, inni, e canti spirituali, cantendu à Diu cù a grazia in i vostri cori.

3:17 Lasciate tuttu ciò chì fate, ch'ella sia in parolla o in fatti, sia fattu tuttu in u nome di u Signore Ghjesù Cristu, ringraziendu à Diu u Patre per mezu di ellu.

3:18 Moglie, siate sottumessi à i vostri mariti, cum'è propiu in u Signore.

3:19 I mariti, amate e vostre mogli, è ùn sia micca amaru versu elli.

3:20 I zitelli, ubbidite à i vostri genitori in tutte e cose. Perchè questu hè piacevule à u Signore.

3:21 I babbi, ùn pruvucà i vostri figlioli à l'indignazione, per ùn perdenu u core.

The Holy Gospel According to Luke 2: 22-40

2:22	And after the days of her purification were fulfilled, according to the law of Moses, they brought him to Jerusalem, in order to present him to the Lord,
2:23	just as it is written in the law of the Lord, “For every male opening the womb shall be called holy to the Lord,"
2:24	and in order to offer a sacrifice, according to what is said in the law of the Lord, “a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons.”
2:25	È eccu, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and God-fearing, awaiting the consolation of Israel. And the Holy Spirit was with him.
2:26	And he had received an answer from the Holy Spirit: that he would not see his own death before he had seen the Christ of the Lord.
2:27	And he went with the Spirit to the temple. And when the child Jesus was brought in by his parents, in order to act on his behalf according to the custom of the law,
2:28	he also took him up, into his arms, and he blessed God and said:
2:29	“Now you may dismiss your servant in peace, O Signore, according to your word.
2:30	For my eyes have seen your salvation,
2:31	which you have prepared before the face of all peoples:
2:32	the light of revelation to the nations and the glory of your people Israel.”
2:33	And his father and mother were wondering over these things, which were spoken about him.
2:34	And Simeon blessed them, and he said to his mother Mary: "Eccu, this one has been set for the ruin and for the resurrection of many in Israel, and as a sign which will be contradicted.
2:35	And a sword will pass through your own soul, so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.”
