The Book of the Prophet Isaiah 1: 10-17

1:10	Ascolta a Parola di u Signore, voi capi di u populu di Sodoma. Ascoltate attentamente a lege di u nostru Diu, O populu di Gomorra.
1:11	A multitùdine di i vostri sacrifici, chì hè questu per mè, dice u Signore? Sò pienu. Ùn vogliu micca l'olucaustu di ram, nè u grassu di i grassi, nè u sangue di vitelli è di agnelli è di capri.
1:12	Quandu si avvicina davanti à a mo vista, quale hè chì esige queste cose da e vostre mani, affinchì tù camminissi in i mo corti?
1:13	Ùn deve più offre sacrifiziu vanu. L'incensu hè una abominazione per mè. E lune novi è i sabbati è l'altri ghjorni di festa, Ùn riceveraghju micca. E vostre riunioni sò inicu.
1:14	A mo ànima odia i vostri ghjorni di proclamazione è e vostre solemnità. Sò diventati fastidiosi per mè. I travagli per suppurtà elli.
1:15	È cusì, quandu stende e mani, Eviraghju i mo ochji da voi. È quandu multiplicate e vostre preghiere, Ùn ti daraghju micca caso. Perchè e vostre mani sò piene di sangue.
1:16	Lavà, diventa pulito, caccià u male di e vostre intenzioni da i mo ochji. Cessate di agisce perversamente.
1:17	Amparate à fà bè. Cercà u ghjudiziu, sustene l'oppressi, ghjudice per l'orfanu, difende a veduva.

U Santu Vangelu secondu Matteu 10: 34-11: 1

10:34	Do not think that I came to send peace upon the earth. I came, not to send peace, but the sword.
10:35	For I came to divide a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
10:36	And the enemies of a man will be those of his own household.
10:37	Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me. And whoever loves son or daughter above me is not worthy of me.
10:38	And whoever does not take up his cross, and follow me is not worthy of me.
10:39	Whoever finds his life, a perderà. And whoever will have lost his life because of me, truverò.
10:40	Whoever receives you, mi riceve. È quellu chì mi riceve, receives him who sent me.
10:41	Whoever receives a prophet, in the name of a prophet, shall receive the reward of a prophet. And whoever receives the just in the name of the just shall receive the reward of the just.
10:42	And whoever shall give, even to one of the least of these, a cup of cold water to drink, solely in the name of a disciple: Amen vi dicu, he shall not lose his reward.”

11:1	È hè accadutu chì, when Jesus had completed instructing his twelve disciples, he went away from there in order to teach and to preach in their cities.
