The Book of the Prophet Micah 6: 1-4, 6-8

6:1	Ascoltate ciò chì u Signore dice: Rise, disputa in ghjudiziu contru à e muntagne, è chì e muntagne sentenu a to voce.
6:2	Chì e muntagne sentenu u ghjudiziu di u Signore, è i forti fundamenti di a terra. Perchè u ghjudiziu di u Signore hè cù u so populu, et il entrera en jugement avec Israël.
6:3	U mo populu, chì ti aghju fattu, o cumu ti aghju assaltatu? Rispondimi.
6:4	Perchè t'aghju purtatu fora di u paese d'Egittu, e ti libbiraiu da a casa di a servitù, è aghju mandatu davanti à a to faccia Mosè, è Aaron, è Miriam.
6:6	Chì cosa degna puderia offre à u Signore, cum'è aghju piegatu u ghjinochju davanti à Diu in altu? Cumu puderia offre l'olucaustu à ellu, è vitelli di un annu?
6:7	Serebbe u Signore piacè cù millaie di ram, o cù parechje millaie di capretti grassi? Cumu puderaghju rinunzià u mo primogenitu per via di u mo cattivu attu, u fruttu di u mo ventre per via di u peccatu di a mo ànima?
6:8	Vi reveraghju, Oman, ciò chì hè bonu, è ciò chì u Signore esige da voi, è cumu agisce cun ghjudiziu, è amassi a misericordia, è di marchjà cun cura cù u vostru Diu.

U Santu Vangelu secondu Matteu 12: 38-42

12:38	Then certain ones from the scribes and the Pharisees responded to him, dicendu, "Maestru, we want to see a sign from you.”
12:39	È rispondendu, li disse: “An evil and adulterous generation seeks a sign. But a sign will not be given to it, except the sign of the prophet Jonah.
12:40	For just as Jonah was in the belly of the whale for three days and three nights, so shall the Son of man be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.
