The Book of Sirach 48: 1-14

48:11	Beati quelli chì vi anu vistu, è chì eranu adornati cù a vostra amicizia.
48:12	Perchè campemu solu in a nostra vita, è dopu a morte, u nostru nomu ùn sarà u listessu.
48:13	Di sicuru, Elia era cupertu da u ventu, è u so spiritu era cumpletu in Eliseu. In i so ghjorni, ùn era micca paura di u regnu, et aucun pouvoir ne l'a vaincu.
48:14	Nisuna parolla l'hà sopraffattu, è dopu a morte, u so corpu prufetizatu.

U Santu Vangelu secondu Matteu 6: 7-15

6:7	And when praying, do not choose many words, as the pagans do. For they think that by their excess of words they might be heeded.
6:8	Dunque, do not choose to imitate them. For your Father knows what your needs may be, even before you ask him.
6:9	Dunque, you shall pray in this way: Our Father, quale hè in celu: May your name be kept holy.
6:10	May your kingdom come. May your will be done, as in heaven, so also on earth.
6:11	Give us this day our life-sustaining bread.
6:12	And forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors.
6:13	And lead us not into temptation. But free us from evil. Amen.
6:14	For if you will forgive men their sins, your heavenly Father also will forgive you your offenses.
6:15	But if you will not forgive men, neither will your Father forgive you your sins.
